So me and my dad was reading doctor who's tardis Wikia, and we found something about the cybermen.
As some people might know there are two types, the Mondas Cybermen from the original series.

And Pete's World Cybermen from the reboot series.

Anyway, when the reboot happened the Mondas Cybermen stopped showing up. Their last episode before the reboot was Series 25: Silver Nemesis.
When the pandorica opens episode aired, you guys might remember the cybermen with the head inside it. Now my dad watched the older series and remembers that the Mondas Cybermen didn't cut humans for the cybermen, the humans was inside the Cybermen.
And when he said that, I realized that the skeleton in Pandorica Opens was in the Cybermen.

So when we got back to his place I went to Tardis Wikia and went to http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Cybermen_(Mondas)_-_List_of_Appearances and http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Cybermen_(Pete's_World)_-_List_of_Appearances (Note: This was yesterday). As I was looking at Pete's World Cybermen, I saw their last Appearance was Series 5 "The Big Bang" which then made me remember Series 7's episode with Craig and the cybermen, if they weren't Pete's, then they must of been the mondas, and I went to the List of Appearances for Mondas and saw their new latest Appearance saying Series 7 "Closing Time". Since they basically now have the same style of Cybermen, I went to look at pictures.
[img_thumb]http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110722094236/tardis/images/5/58/Cybermen-series-6.jpg[/img_thumb]Look on their chest, see the round circle where the Cybus logo should be? If you go back to the top image with Pete's world Cybermen, they have the Cybus Logo. Apparently those without the circles are the Mondas. Don't believe me? Says it right there on the mondas page.
If you still don't believe me, it says on the Cyber-Conversion page http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Cyber-conversion
It doesn't explain why they look almost the same, but maybe the Mondas Cybermen saw the left overs from the parallel ones are copied them or perhaps when Doctor restored the universe they some how merged. They should put some dialogue in there which explains that.
Honestly, the Weeping Angels are scary, but I have to say one of my favorite episodes was the Library.
"Hey, who turned out the lights?!"
A NEW Asylum of the Daleks teaser tomorrow.
While here is a compilation of Christmas filming:

Additionally, the credits on the official site include the following:
President Richard Nixon...... Stuart Milligan

apparently they're also remaking the cybermen in series 7, should be interesting.
Does this mean the Mondas are leaving again? I don't want them to leave since it adds more of the Original series to it.
Sorry man you're kinda late.
The writers said before the episode even aired that they were The Mondas Cybermen. Infact the Cybermen in the free Adventure game are Mondas too as they lack the C logo too and make use of the cybermat.
The reason the Cyberman in Pandorica has a whole head is because when the Daleks arrived The Cybermen needed to speed up the conversion progress so started to convert whole humans to help fight them. The problem with this is a lot of Cybermen didn't get finished and you get halfhuman Cybermen as seen in Torchwood.
Ah I see, the whole point of the post was for people to see that the big bang 2 brought the Mondas cybermen back and the Cybus Cybermen gone, since Amy didn't even remember what a cybermen was in the new series I think. So due to the big Bang 2, there are chances of other differences with old enemies returning.
who gives a fuck what type they are, they're identical in all but name
They shouldn't be. Mondas have a much darker origin and are a space race. The Cybus ones are the equivalent of a terrorist cell, not in as big numbers and small time in comparison.
But there was rumours it is going to be Mondas Cybermen at some point. [sp]the big rumour for some time was that some Mondas Cybermen were specially designed[/sp]
[editline]24th August 2012[/editline]
Mondas are like robot zombies specially the very early ones. Creepy.
Cybus are basically very loud clumsy Borg.
stop splitting hairs
It's not splitting hairs. It's not like The Daleks where the new series ones are different from the classic series simply as they've been updated, it's a whole separate villain and everybody knows it.
what, they're not separate villains
if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, etc
what, they're not separate villains

You've clearly never seen the Ugly Duckling :v:
that was the 9th doctor
so is Benedict Cumberpatch confirmed to be the next Master?
what, they're not separate villains

They are separate Villains, the Cybus Cybermen from the alternate universe "pete's world" (Series 2, David Tennant: Rise of the Cybermen, Age of Steel), which is basically Earth. But the Mondas Cybermen came from the twins earth planet "Mondas" (First Doctor, Series 4: The Tenth Planet). The cybus cybermen were made by parts of humans brain, flesh, etc. While the Mondas Cybermen are basically humans in cyber bodies. They were made because the planet Mondas was dying and they wanted to conquer the other universes. The cybus Cybermen was basically made just for people to live longer, nothing else. There is a difference, they are both different Enemies, they are Separate.

What if the duck is a cyberman?
[editline]25th August 2012[/editline]
cyberduck.
if it looks like a bee, and stings like a bee, it might be either from earth or from space.
cyberbee.

ok I'll shut up now.
THE PREDATOR OF THE DALEKS HAS BEEN DEPLOYED

"I'm not a predator, just a man with a plan"
oh boy
Plus, all that Jack's blood making him immortal bullshit, I thought we all agreed that was total shit? Even the Doctor told him that he was a freak of time, he keeps coming back because he is a constant in the timestream. His body is exactly the same as it was as when he was brought back by Rose. RTD fucked up big time with making Rex immortal and placing loads of emphasis on the blood.
Not really. Jack is a constant in time. Jacks blood is inside his constant body and created by his constant body. Jacks blood should be as non-existent as Jack himself.

And have totally different plans and capabilities too. The Mondas Cybermen are weak to gold for example and don't shoot out of their wrists.
The Cybus Cybermen are basically robots, Mondas are just high tech suits.
so is Benedict Cumberpatch confirmed to be the next Master?
Likely not.
As great as he'd be I don't want him as The Master. I prefer it when an actor from something I've not seen becomes the role, or somebody you don't expect like Simm. Unknown actors make Doctor Who work very well as you're not spending the time thinking "that's Sherlock from Sherlock lolololol".
Plus he's gone all Hollywood. He's in both Star Trek and The Hobbit as the main villian, in The Hobbit he plays two separate villains. He's got a string of Hollywood films lined up too, he's gone big time. He won't do Who now, we're lucky he still loves doing Sherlock.
Eddie Murphy as the next Master please.
Eddie Murphy as every role.
Except if Eddie Murphy was an actual character in the show.
Eddie Murphy as the voice of the Daleks.
[editline]25th August 2012[/editline]
If Eddie Murphy doesn't exist in the Doctor Who universe, then who plays the nutty professor?
A parliament of daleks? Terrible word usage
hey guys what time does merlin start?
[SUB][SUB]But in all seriousness I am looking forward to this series quite a lot[/SUB][/SUB]
1 week folks. 1 week. I am making unmanly noises in anticipation.
A parliament of daleks? Terrible word usage
it's like one of those failed states along the lines of "people's democratic republic of X" where it's obviously a dictatorship
Daleks are a military nation anyway, I imagine the Parliment is literally there to decided who to genocide next and strategies for disposing of enemies. I bet they rarely disagree with eachother and on the rare occasion a Dalek has a different idea the others exterminate him. Atleast we know who executed The Master in the TV movie.

Love a good Dalek story.
Fun fact: Moffat was supposed to write The Dalek two-parter in Series 3 but had to drop out.
Fun fact 2: The Weeping Angels were intended for the Library two parter but when Moffat wasn't writing the Daleks anymore he had to quickly create a new enemy and decided to use the Angels early.
Shit, I'm at the Paras next Saturday night and will miss the first episode. Damn
Watching Blink now. I'll admit it's been quite scary so far :v:

Honestly, I didn't find it particularly scary, but that could have been as watched it in totally the wrong order.
