[sp]Rory never took his off. The Doctor slipped his onto Amy while they weren't paying attention.[/sp]
[sp]Oh even I wasn't paying attention to that then, it looked like Rory gave his wristband to Amy at the end when they were on the teleport[/sp] :v:
[sp]Nope, that was what their whole argument was about and why they stopped, Rory had grabbed her wrist and found the bracelet. [/sp]
Man, that WAS awesome. I was not expecting that huge twist at the end, that great big tomato in the mirror, though being that the Moff wrote it I should have expected at least one. However, I assume the Doctor did some medical stuff to resolve one of those threads that I perceive to have been hanging; either that or I guess the bracelets purged all of the nano from Amy.
it was solved with the power of love
Yeah, the companion is probably an ancestor and the Doctor recognises her and takes her with him as a sort of thanks to Oswin. Or something.
Her entire backstory was explained in this episode dude...
Kind of briefly.. [SP]but why make her the next companion then? what would be the point? there has to be some mystery in the run up to her becoming one, otherwise it's pointless having her as a new companion personally[/SP]
The Daleks will remember him somehow. If they can survive a time war, they'll remember him.
I'm disappointed they didn't use the Special Weapons Dalek
Personally I don't find them any different, although I loved this new episode, it was great, it just didn't change my opinion on the daleks.
No yeah I don't think my opinion of the Daleks have changed either, I know that when it goes back to the usual oh look Daleks invading it won't be creepy again. But when Rory woke up, it was tense and creepy with the Daleks which is something it's been missing for so long.
That was pretty awesome. Had no idea Clara would be in the series this early, and the twist was definitely interesting.
Completely cringed at the end though.
It can't be another River mystery, because surely she would have remembered him.
When you become a Dalek, you lose perspective. [SP]What I don't get is there was no hate shown from her most of the episode[/SP]
Was it me or was the divorce subplot kind of.. pointless?
So... who noticed the crack?
So... who noticed the crack?
where?
The stream will be HERE

Wait, 1920? Damn, I'm 92 years late...
I liked it a lot, would've liked it a lot more without my shitty little seventeen-year-old sister pissing around on her laptop right next to me and moaning about how shit she thinks the series is. Fucking hell I hate her right now.
Also, I think [sp]Oswin might be sort of like Eve Myles's Torchwood character, how she looks identical to a relative that lived years and years ago and stuff. Either that or maybe she's gonna be the Bad Wolf of this series, somehow? Like, she keeps popping up all over time in different places or something?[/sp]
So... who noticed the crack?
Oh not this shit again.
Moffat would never reuse such a horrendous mary sue piece of bullcrap.
I don't want her to come back; the only good Mary Sue is a dead Mary Sue.
Also I edited the OP with a link to the stream so you can easily find it again next week.
One thing that we still haven't had answered
[sp]What about Dalek-Rory?
I dont think the infection in him went away just because they teleported off either, that'd be a pretty bad excuse[/sp]
[SP]Yeah, he didn't need one. The aim was to get them alone and prove that they really love each other. I'd guess it's what you'd do if one was on the brink of dying.[/SP]

Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff.
I will only accept a identical ancestor story solely due to having seen the Bicentenial man
You realise women have to be post pregnancy to lactate.
Actually, with the administration of hormones and/or proper stimuli, a woman can lactate without having been pregnant.
Don't ask me how I know this.
But then, wouldn't they wonder who the "Predator" is?
Yes. But they might take it as just another name for a person.
Wow, so do we [SP]get basically another River Song due to character mystery? Like River Song, we first see her at the end, now we see the new companion already at her end so the mystery will be the run up to her becoming a Dalek. Jesus. [/SP]
[sp]No, because she would have recognised the doctor then[/sp]

I have a fair few ideas. :geno:
I was thinking that [sp]The Doctor would go back in time and change her future and prevent her from being Dalekized, and then she'd tag along. Or that he'll go back and have her go along for the ride until the time comes for her to go to that asylum, but that kindof thing would feel too River-Songy again tbh[/sp]
Yes. But they might take it as just another name for a person.
Then wouldn't they want revenge on said person? Or they might think that ugly fucker is the "Predator". Wouldn't that be fun.

Paradox dude.

But her name is Oswin and the companion's name is Clare (so I hear).
I have a theory. [SP]Wasn't the prime minister dalek the one who travelled through time? If not, this is pointless but I think if it did travel in time then surely it would have seen the future and the Doctor coming to know this girl as his next companion.
What if the real plan of this episode was to plant an idea or image in the Doctor's head as her becoming a Dalek so when he does finally meet her, it creates a sense of distance in connection between them? Doesn't the Doctor work best with a companion and vulnerable when on his own? Or makes mistakes?
Neither aknowledged each other, so neither have met in the past nor come from one another's future like River Song.
Wasn't she in a cage, strung up? Maybe she still is and the machine REPLICATES her rather than convert her into a Dalek. It could be replicating her mind and putting it in the Dalek but she of course is dreaming in the machine.[/SP]
Just an idea I had, not sure what people would think. I seriously have no idea with Moffat :v:
