A group of people making a fan group for The Doctor is such a good premise. That thing wasn't.
I also like how it shows them actually growing into a little community, that part was really well done.

Still; could've been worse; the TARDIS could've been dropped on the Abzorballof and squished him into the pavement, then the Doctor comes out with a cheesy grin and says "oh dear, that's gonna leave a mark!". [U]Thank god THAT didn't happen.[/U]

Am I missing anything or are they just ignoring the Doctor's "daughter" ? I figured it would be cool to bring her back, as she did end up escaping at the end of the episode.
It makes sense; the offspring of the Doctor shouldn't just be a single-use card, she should probably make at least ONE appearance in a future series.
Moffat said to Davies "The Doctors daughter dying at the end is a bit glum" so Davies quickly changed the ending.
She was never planned to come back and probably never will.
