Though I do like Rex though, so having him as a member in the next mini-series would be fun, though in Torchwood fashion, everyone else who would be great as team members (The analysts, Rex's partner), are killed off. That just pisses me off.
When you consider the fact the guy shouldn't exist it does. His blood shouldn't exist as much as he shouldn't, nothing about him can be destroyed as it simply doesn't exist. Hair cuts must be so long.

Buried alive for 1874 years, that must have been rough.

Miracle Day was such a disappointment, especially after Children of Earth showed just how good Torchwood could be with some proper writers and a solid story.
Has anyone else ever considered that the face of Bo could be jack? The doctor doesn't seem to know him yet he addresses him as old friend? I know there's a few flaws like the fact he died but I had a big discussion about it with my dad back before the face of Bo died.
erm. Have you seen Series 3 fully? :L
I liked the fact that they put some original series Daleks in the background.
I saw in an interview or something that they actually reused some outdated dalels, and one was also the lroducers' garden decoration. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline]
erm. Have you seen Series 3 fully? :L
My memory is terrible. Sorry it's just something I've never seen discussed before.
My memory is terrible. Sorry it's just something I've never seen discussed before.
At the end of Series 3, Jack says they used to call him the Face of Boe back where he was from.
Oh. Damn I forgot about that. One question then, if he didn't age or anything how the fuck did he become a floating head that eventually died..
Oh. Damn I forgot about that. Davies himself said before Miracle Day that it's just conjecture at this point.
Was jack mortal at the end of miricale day or was he changed back to normal? Miracle day was a load of crap though, his immortality has nothing to do with his blood. Also, the Daleks forgetting who the Doctor is? Wtf is Doctor Who going to be without the threat of the Daleks? The whole "DOCTAAH WHOO?" thing was a bit to cheesy. Not as bad as that cheap spin off series with that old twat that called himself "Doctor Who."
You could write a whole dissertation on whether Jack is The Face of Boe. The only conclusion you would come to is that it was shitty writing.
Also the most recent doctor who movie was painful to watch. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline]
You could write a whole dissertation on whether Jack is The Face of Boe. The only conclusion you would come to is that it was shitty writing.
Fair point.
You guys take it a tad too seriously, it's Doctor Who. It's just a bit of fun. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] Which is ultimately we called bullshit on Torchwood, because that sort of writing in Doctor Who is fun and part of the style. Torchwood it was just misfitting and bad.
I honestly wonder whether the Doctor will tell the Ponds that "oh btw I saw river die"

I just hate it when we fight :'(
I just hate it when we fight :'(
Coming from the guy who almost caused WW3 over on Alex Day's blog
He's not one of us [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] but that was grand
one of us one of us
I really hope when Jack finally meets 11, Gwen will be there. She makes long rants about him in both Children of Earth and Miracle Day, and considering her entire career was based around cleaning up what the Doctor doesn't fix on Earth, it might be time for her to actually know who he is.
What was the green stuff meant to be?
I just assumed it was some natural thing of the planet.
Dalek jizz, that was the sexual addicts section of the asylum.
Dalek jizz, that was the sexual addicts section of the asylum.
We all know their catchphrase.
I watched a old episode of DW. I liked it, it was I think the Ark in Space
I just watched 3 parts of "The Tenth Planet" before remembering how there isn't a 4 anymore... I feel cheated.
I presumed it was just Dalek blood. Their insides have been shown to be green even since the first appearances of the Daleks. Apart from the ones in black & white of course.
