Found this on Youtube for anyone that wants a little information about Doctor Who during it's classic years, it has interviews with most of the original Doctors (except for Hartnell, Troughton and Pertwee) and some of the old companions and the creators of the show.
(I also apologize if this has been put on this thread before, I thought it'd be nice to show this off on the thread.)

I'm not saying this is a good idea, but I'd love to see Tom Baker make a cameo in 50th anniversary.
Ten things you need to know about Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Especially number 10!
[sp] 1. Following last episode's Jenna-Louise Coleman reveal, expect another big twist in 'Dinosaurs'.
2. "I liked you before you said ********."
3. The Doctor has something that Rory doesn't.
4. "I'm going to look at rocks!"
5. Rory gets a chance to show off his "awesome... skills".
6. "It is quite ridiculous. Also brilliant!"
7. Amy suspects that she's been replaced.
8. "Whenever you enter somewhere new, ***** *******."
9. The Doctor does something rather shocking near the episode's end...
10. "I shall put you across my knee and spank you!" [/sp]

Found a video of him talking about the 50th anniversary.

He said very recently this year at a con (along with all the others apart from Colin) that he would do it but only if the story is up to scratch and it's not just a pointless "Let's wheel on the old boys".
Colin got quite annoyed at the idea of coming back but he sort of nodded when I think Paul said "Only if the script is decent and I have something to do". Even Chris is coming round. The fact is the closer we get the more up for it they are. For certain we know Moffat has had lunch with David Tennant regarding the matter as he said so when asked about the 50th so atleast expect him.

It would be a damn crime if he didn't.

Incredible to see the actors still hold it so highly after being away from it for so long. They never had the faintest idea it would come back and be even bigger than before. Imagine that. The show is off air for a decade and a documentary like this still gets made. Doctor Who will still be around when we're old in one form or another.

"I can make you listen. Because I can do anything. As from this moment their is no such thing as free will in the entire universe. There is only my will because I posses the key to time."
"Doctor are you alright?"
"Well of course I'm alright. But suppose I wasn't alright. This thing makes me feel in such a way I'd be very worried if I felt like that about somebody else feeling like this about that you understand?"
Fucking Tom Baker.

An issue of X-men from the 80's. Incredible to see a reference like this.
I'm presuming it's possible to upload rivers personality into a mechanical body from the library?

I don't like her but it would be cool for the doctor to tell amy and rory that he was there when she died but don't worry because he's transferred her personality into a computer so she can live forever.
I like Matt Smith and all, Tenant is my favorite by far, but Smith just seems like a bumbling idiot. I mean, the 10th did too, but it appeared more like it was all part of his plan... his plan to look as though he didn't have a plan, when he really probably didn't have a plan, but he was reassuring about it. 11 is just all like "Ohh, I'm overly British, a little posh, I don't want to break a nail, RUN!" When it comes down to it, the man is a badass, but he's a downgrade compared to 10.

It's not the actor that pilots the TARDIS, it's the Doctor that does it. :v:
In other words, I think Smith's performance is a little bit more better than Tennant (while that's only my opinion.) I think he did great with emphasising the part of the Doctor that doesn't really know how to blend in (ex: those episodes where he works with James Corden) with other people. It shows off the part of the Doctor that is supposed to show he is just a little weird alien to us to knows oh-so much about us, but can't act among us. Tennant I belive didn't really show off the wacky side of the Doctor, it was always serious, which isn't bad.
But when it comes to plans, the Doctor said (Even through his 9th and 10th stages and so far) he says many times throughout the show that he makes his plans up as he goes along either to impress his companions when they ask of a plan during danger, or HE REALLY doesn't have a plan and goes with the flow.
While everything has it's pro's and con's, Tennant (for me) seemed a little over-dramatic at times when it came to the stuff relating to the other Time Lords and the whole deal of the Time War.
But with Smith (in my opinion) it's a new fresh start for Doctor Who as in show terms, it's time to leave certain things behind and try and stay fresh not thinking or dragging what happened before around like a dead animal.
While I'm just spilling a few of my opinions, you don't have to take them seriously or in consideration.
I liked both a lot but got tired of Tennant in The Specials. He wasn't serious all the time quite the opposite.
But that wasn't my problem. Mine was I was always strangely aware I was watching a performance. Still one of my favourite Doctors.

His performance in "Dalek" was utterly amazing. I really can't believe he managed to make the Doctor so cold and so harsh and so horrible that you actually feel sorry for a Dalek. Although, I do think it's a bit bullshit that after the incident in "Dalek" he goes back to hating the Daleks just because they are Daleks in "The Parting of Ways," "Doomsday," "Daleks in Manhattan," "The Stolen Earth," "Victory of the Daleks" and "Asylum of the Daleks"

But I think it was because at the time (to the Doctor and the Daleks knowledge) the Dalek race was completely wiped out. But because Rose touched the Dalek locked away in that prison chamber, it had some of her emotional DNA, which brought to light that the Doctor would look at that Dalek in another way.
But for the rest of the series, they were just normal Daleks who were just themselves usually full of hatred and destruction, the other one during that episode had an emotional feel to it.
(Again, it's just my opinion and please don't take it seriously.)

ten years later, embarrassment occurs.
That video of the kid is fucking adorable haha. I love how massively broad a range Dr Who has, my dad and grandfather love it as much as she does. Less toys though.

Pretty sure he wasn't treated like shit, he only had a one year contract to begin with because they were unsure if the new series would end up succeeding, and he didn't want to continue onto another series for fear of becoming a typecast. There was a fake report by Alan Davies (I don't know why he would say this) that he was overworked by the BBC and was exhausted with the part of being The Doctor, but he said that the statement was false and he was annoyed at Alan for saying it.

Yes, except Miracle Day which really isn't a necessity. Meanwhile, on a tangent, is it Christmas yet?

This. Chris has said he didn't enjoy things he saw going on but he never said it was to him personally. Many people think it's because he lacked a sense of humour and couldn't join in the general workplace banter. Apparently John got his arse out once and Chris stormed off because it wasn't professional..

Why couldn't the Doctor and Amy overpower the Dalek Puppet Zombies, they were only skelebones.

DALEK skelebones. Three times stronger than regular skelebones. Probably.

Did you not see their arm lasers that went pew pew and knocked out Amy, Rory and the Doctor?
Am I the only one who really liked Christoper Eccelston as the doctor?
