Another note about DWM:
In addition, the magazine - out on Thursday 20th September - talks to Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, and Robert Llewellyn about the return of cult sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf to UK TV screens in October.

Another note about DWM:
Yey Red Dwarf
has there been a red dwarf doctor who crossover?
Only in the dreams of a nation [editline]19th September 2012[/editline] Calling it for next comic relief [editline]19th September 2012[/editline] Any guesses on the celebs appearing this week?
has there been a red dwarf doctor who crossover?
not a crossover dont know where it came from though
not a crossover dont know where it came from though
That gold and black dalek looks pretty cool. Unrelated: It's a video of the Second Doctor talking about why he started to run away, I don't know if it still holds up with the cannon of the new show.
There's been so [sp]so many little hints towards a "familiar face" appearing or being mentioned, and a lot of mentions of the fourth Doctor. In the hints a few pages back one was simply "Adric. Poor Adric".[/sp] Could [sp]it be the Ponds or the Doctor go off on an unscreened adventure with Adric before his death?[/sp] I would like this. Spoilered because I'm wildly speculating on the released hints.
never watched the library episodes so apparently from river's point of view the library was supposed to happen with 11?
Amy visits a re-used location from Series 2: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/534407_10151224642702755_1720865288_n.jpg Image is from The Angels Take Manhattan - supposedly from DWM. [sp] Note the TARDIS' stone effect [/sp]
never watched the library episodes so apparently from river's point of view the library was supposed to happen with 11?
She expected a version of the Doctor that knew who she was, but instead she got the 10th who didn't know her yet.
Three things. Firstly, DWM confirms that it's not just 7a getting the 'movie poster' treatment - but it will run throughout Jenna's episodes also. Secondly, some pictures from The Angels Take Manhattan: http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/the-angels-take-manhattan-sneak-peek-39520.htm Third, as I expected from an earlier post and synopsis; [sp]Every statue is taken over by the angels in New York. EVERY statue. http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/the-angels-take-manhattan-new-details-39561.htm[/sp]
Why do you do this to yourself?
Sounds like it'll take more than an NES pad and some slime to [sp]sort out the biggest of them all...[/sp]
Why do you do this to yourself?
Why do I view BBC-sanctioned released pictures and official episode descriptions? I assume that's what you're referring to? I don't know. Because I'm interested. I guess I trust the BBC and DWM not to release major spoilers.
Why do I view BBC-sanctioned released pictures and official episode descriptions? I assume that's what you're referring to? I don't know. Because I'm interested.
I mean why do you spoil episodes for yourself, occasionally I see what you post and feel like as I watch an episode I'm just waiting for things to happen instead of being surprised by them, like a game of doctor who bingo. I can understand that it would be interesting, but wouldn't it be more interesting to wait and see things when they should be seen as they should be seen?

I can understand that it would be interesting, but wouldn't it be more interesting to wait and see things when they should be seen as they should be seen?
This is why I spoiler tag things now. But whenever I do people post them openly for people to see. I don't control that. I post teasers, occasionally non-spoiler filming pics, and things revealed by the BBC. That's it. It's really not a discussion point - because everyone has their own preference about how much they want to know about an episode beforehand. Anybody who clicks on links and opens up tags, their choice.

I guess it's just having the temptation there, one click and there's a checklist of things that are going to happen in the coming episode, quotes that work well when they're vocalised but if you're waiting for them aren't as good, plot points that should be surprising but aren't.
Secondly, some pictures from The Angels Take Manhattan: http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/the-angels-take-manhattan-sneak-peek-39520.htm
I fairly sure that my theory is right, so SERIOUS SPOILER ALERT! [sp]There are a lot of pictures of the Doctor and Amy, but not Rory. If my theory is correct, hile in Manhatten, The Angels send Rory into the past, where he dies of old age. This explains why they are at a gravesite in 1930's New York[/sp]
..the Doctor has his TARDIS this time? plus the whole episode looks as if it takes place during the past
The episode's synopsis explains that. [sp]“The Doctor, Amy and Rory visit modern-day New York. But the Weeping Angels are lurking here too. When one of the TARDIS crew is zapped back to 1938, Amy discovers that time can’t always be rewritten, not once it’s written in stone.” Pretty much why The Doctor can't just go back and save everyone. The 'Blink' victims for example.[/sp]
Well then easy solution [sp] Amy goes and lives with Rory in the past. Nobody dies, everyone lives, they just can't go on adventures anymore. [/sp]
Well then easy solution [sp] Amy goes and lives with Rory in the past. Nobody dies, everyone lives, they just can't go on adventures anymore. [/sp]
[sp]..and thus lies the most speculated ending of The Ponds[/sp]
Well then easy solution [sp] Amy goes and lives with Rory in the past. Nobody dies, everyone lives, they just can't go on adventures anymore. [/sp]
but then how do they wave to themselves in the hungry earth
but then how do they wave to themselves in the hungry earth
That event was changed in those episodes, it can change again. [sp]After all, the Angels play with time.[/sp] Or maybe Chibnall will bring it up again on Saturday : ) We know a fair amount of time has passed and will be passing, though I doubt we're at 2020.... but something else I'm interested in.. [sp]There seems to be an angel in chains. Wasn't the one in "The Time of Angels" part of a 'private collection?'[/sp] On a more sombre note, Janet Fielding is fighting cancer.
