http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2012/09/janet-fielding-battles-cancer.html Sad news. Could be set to loose another companion. Wonder why Tom isn't involved. If we can't get all the classics involved for a good cause what hope do we have for the 50th. [editline]19th September 2012[/editline]
Amy visits a re-used location from Series 2: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/534407_10151224642702755_1720865288_n.jpg [/sp]
AND THEN IT TURNS OUT AMY WAS ROSE ALLLLLL ALONG. havent seen the episode, I'm sorry. im very behind.
I honestly wish people wouldn't get so butt-frustrated with Eleven's random acts of aggression. Violence, anger, and hatred are no strangers to the Doctor as it's an important part of his character progression. If we don't go "Wait, what?!" every now and then, then I can imagine the show getting boring after watching the perfect "Doctor who never would" over and over again. Without these darker and more inner conflicts of morality within the Doctor, he'd soon become a two dimensional character that I'm sure very few fans would enjoy. To conclude; the Doctor is viewed by the people he saves, and the audience, as a hero. But I see his saving of worlds and creatures as his way of trying to balance out the right and the wrong he's committed.

...I never want to hear "The Doctor doesn't carry guns!!!" again..
The way I see it is is that he can't carry a gun, not that he doesn't carry a gun. all that anger blah blah blah plus firearm
Well then easy solution [sp] Amy goes and lives with Rory in the past. Nobody dies, everyone lives, they just can't go on adventures anymore. [/sp]
[sp]Nobody dies? Amy and Rory die of old age stuck in the past without friends or family[/sp]
Official site, but still a Power of 3 spoiler I guess: **** returns in the Power of Three.
We were told Episode 1 has a hint of Amy and Rory's departure. This line was never explained "I know you don't I? I've seen you before" 9:10 minutes in. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] On a side note- I love how up until the scene he changes clothes Matt Smith is playing the Tenth Doctor. It was a nice intentional touch. Lots of shouting and confidence and charm. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] And the sarcasm [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] The scene he's chained to the radiator is dead good. He literally nails Tennant down to his inflictions in his voice and the little smile when the alien first appears. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] He even takes Amy's hand to lead her into a run. He never does that now.
And his way of speech. It's very Tennant-y, compared to how he speaks now, which is like, just a completely mad man in a box, speaking at lightspeed.
"I know you don't I? I've seen you before"
Yes it was. She realises in the part afterwards that he's the Raggedy Doctor that Amy used to draw.

heh at 3:30 didnt notice that "Signs" reference before
A number of people foolishly complained that Smith was just mindlessly copying Tennant - not realising that The Eleventh Hour was not the first episode filmed, or that it was part of the post-regeneration story. As Moffat said himself, once he's on that rooftop, in his new clothes, facing down the Atraxi.. "That's it. That when he's properly there." I hope he's around for a great deal of time to come.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s7/doctor-who/news/a407253/peter-jackson-id-love-to-direct-an-episode-of-doctor-who.html OH MY GOD. IF PETER JACKSON DID NEILS UPCOMING EPISODE OR THE 50TH IT WOULD BE THE BEST EPISODE EVER [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] Fun fact: At a convention Sylvester McCoy told me Peter Jackson owns every Doctor outfit and they are on display in his house with his LOTR stuff. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] Honestly Peter is the best 50th anniversary choice and Moffat the best writer as they are so deeply absorbed by the show and have a great creative output.
I would rather that Peter Jackson did not direct an episode of Doctor Who. It's nice that he likes the show and all, but I really don't think he's very good.
Summing up Alex Kingston's "Who Do You Think You Are" appearance..
“This afternoon I found my inner whore. I was not expecting that.”
Wait what?
Wait what?
She discovered that her great grandmother ran a brothel.. in Westminster. I would think if Peter Jackson directed he would have weta on board as well. I think the studio that does the doctor who sfx could work with weta to create something interesting.
Episode Five trailer... I'm not forcing you... Goddamnit, that [sp]giant fucking Statue of Liberty. Fuck. [/sp] [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] Which bit were you right about, Grizz?

The possibility of a version of the Statue of Liberty being an angel was too ludicrous to speculate about![/sp] So apparently the first thing Jenna did with the TARDIS was fall through the doors because they weren't locked properly. Welcome aboard!

To celebrate, I found the most accurate photo I could. Happy birthday, Billie Piper!
God damn I would love Peter Jackson to direct an episode!
