[sp]That gravestone shot, IMO, solidified this as the best revival series companion ending. Feel free to whine over Rose (non-departure), Martha (walk out the door) and Donna (memory wipe but still around), but that's just me.[/sp]
So we had [sp]double suicide[/sp], and [sp]'5' deaths[/sp], not forgetting [sp]River losing both her parents[/sp]... award for most depressing episode ever?
All that, and the [sp]Angel Statue of Liberty[/sp] made me forget all the small gripes I've had this series.
On retrospect, the later part of that episode was pretty depressing; the Doctor [sp]loses his two close friends[/sp], they both [sp]committed suicide[/sp] to [sp]create a powerful paradox[/sp], and even when [sp]Rory escaped his grim fate[/sp] initially, he [sp]gets sent back anyway[/sp] due to [sp]a lone survivor[/sp].
God, [sp]Brian's gonna be pretty sad[/sp] if and when he discovers the terrible truth.

and..
[sp]The only reason Rory got sent back at the end... was due to standing around to see his own gravestone. Salt in the wound, to say the least. Looking back, it's sort of weird he shrugs it off as "lol amy look" after EVERYTHING THAT JUST HAPPENED.[/sp]
Guess I'm going to be told I'm dumb, but I don't understand how [sp]the afterword[/sp] could be true when Amy and Rory were [sp]being farmed for time energy[/sp]?
I've used spoiler tags as a courtesy - but as I've said before, once the episode has aired you won't be banned for posting about the plot.
True; personally, i'd probably have rather'd that even if he did [sp]look at the gravestone[/sp], he'd either [sp]gaze in terror with chilled blood[/sp], or attempt to [sp]madly rush into the TARDIS[/sp], even if [sp]he'd still get warped back regardless[/sp].
Also, i'm sure the [sp]Lone Survivor Angel[/sp] couldn't run what's essentially a [sp]time-farming racket[/sp] on it's own; I assumed [sp]they still lived free and natural lives[/sp].

Spoiler tags aren't a chore for a show you love.

[sp]Because the angels ceased to exist because of the paradox and the building didn't get turned into a farm[/sp]

Shock, I imagine. He did just wake up from [sp]falling to his death after an emotional double suicide[/sp]. it'd knock me for six. [sp]Also, he'd thought the danger had passed.[/sp]
I don't like how the weeping angels are in so many episodes now. They are good episodes, but they have lost the scaryness they had in Blink.

I kind of agree, but they've only been in 3 episodes, two seasons apart from each other. (Ok, technically 4)
Plus the [sp]Cherubs[/sp] were very creepy, I found, [sp]while the Liberty[/sp] was freaking awesome.

I actually found these ones scarier than in Blink.
Oh I see - I didn't get that that was [sp]a lone survivor[/sp]. In that case did it [sp]zap Rory purely out of instinct? Also why zap Amy to the same time and place, and what happened to the lone angel after that?[/sp]
Did you see the Sherlock reference?

The [sp]Statue of liberty didn't really do much or have much significance did it?[/sp]
The [sp]Statue of liberty didn't really do much or have much significance did it?[/sp]
[sp]No, but it was awesome.[/sp] You need anything else?
The [sp]Statue of liberty didn't really do much or have much significance did it?[/sp]
[sp]It was there to catch those who made it onto the roof, like the first private investigator.[/sp]
The [sp]Statue of liberty didn't really do much or have much significance did it?[/sp]
[sp]This is just my own theory, but I thought most angels could feed themselves easily enough without the farm (though it is more convenient), so one main reason for it was to provide enough energy for Liberty.[/sp]
So[sp]River Song wasn't the really young one then? Meaning this is the first time we've seen her out of order? This is inbetween The Wedding of River Song and Silence in the Library for her, right?[/sp]
An idea for River's book..
[sp]Page one. Line one. "Don't let Rory go for coffee." The End.[/sp]
Amazing episode, probably the best companion farewell in the new series.
Do we have a date for the Christmas special?

One can speculate.
Did you see the name of Rory's matches? Nice link to the second half of the series... ; )
[sp]The statue of liberty was ridiculous. It served no purpose and introduced a gaping plothole.[/sp] Other than that it was good.

But that would create a paradox, wouldn't it?
But that would create a paradox, wouldn't it?
[sp]Paradoxes are wonderful now. But I was only joking :)[/sp]
So do the Weeping angels [sp] take over statues, rather than become statues when you look at them? [/sp]

Also jumping off a building.

What was it?
Abriged post: Matt Smith is ugly and I don't watch the show for that reason.

Congrats on Doctor Who making me cry really hard.
I don't normally watch Doctor Who (really think Matt Smith is ugly) but I watched today's episode. It was okay. Better than last week's, so anticlimactic.
Ooh, did I piss off some Who fans? Let me explain: Matt Smith has a porridge face and I can't stand to watch him act. David Tennant was okay but by the time he left I decided I was too old for Doctor Who anyway. This latest episode was decent as far as series finales go. I really hate how this show makes its own excuses for plot holes and techno babble though. And my last point: there is no denying that the episode with the black cubes was completely stale.
Bye. Let me explain: Go away, please.
[sp]That was crass, but, pretty please? :([/sp]
What was it?
[sp]They had the same name as a match factory which was set up for a location shoot =) Tagged just for jaykray <3[/sp]
