Yes, I kinda envisioned a sort of "stepmotherly" conflict of sorts, though i'd imagine Jenny to be the instigator rather than River.
Yeah, and then there'd be some kind of moment where they're forced to cooperate, probably to save the Doctor and / or the world / universe, realise that they work well together, and then become friends or something.
And if it's a Moffat episode, one of them will probably get fatally injured, the other will use some kind of weird time-travel grammar to mess about with the time streams, the Doctor will say "NOOOO DON'T MESS WITH TIME AND THINGS BECAUSE THAT IS BAD, AND NEVER EVER WORKED OUT FOR ME THE COUPLE OF THOUSAND TIMES I DID IT, WELL MAYBE THEY DID BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I'M THE DOCTOR AND NEITHER OF YOU ARE TIME LORDS", it'll work perfectly and the other will be absolutely fine again, but then it would turn out that the reality where they worked together never existed due to the time-travel messing-around-with, and then they'll be unable to see each other again because time lines and paradoxes and time rewritten and time streams being too complicated.
Or Jenny'll just get put on another bus to continue exploring the universe, or something.

Optional: the Weeping Angels feature, doing weird stuff that makes them almost totally different from the angels seen in Blink. Like, I don't know, maybe this time they're capturing people and somehow forcing them to become quantum locked, so they turn to stone whenever someone sees them, and can only move when people close their eyes.
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
Actually that might be kinda cool. Someone should totally write this.
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
Oh oh oh and it should totally be a two parter.
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
And the cliffhanger at the halfway point should be that one of the characters is quantum locked; two of the characters are separateed from the third, they see a shadow on the opposite wall, showing there's something behind them, and then they turn around expecting an Angel, but instead it's the other character, who is stonified. NEXT TIME ON DOCTOR WHO
Well actually, Jenny IS a Time Lord. Two hearts.
Am I right in saying that there were multiple times in the later weeping angels episodes where angels have looked at each other? That's like the only way to beat them is to out smart them, but it seems they forgot that too.

The Angels have been ruined since blink.
The angels really are shit now, the little babies weren't scary, they keep forgetting about established rules and it's just all meh really ..
[QUOTE=Grizz;37871029]Not.. exactly...

We have to wait another 3 months? Great, they delay the series until the end of august and we get 5 episodes for the whole of 2012, thanks BBC  .
Is the Doctor going to save Oswin and turn her back into a human or something?
I cried like a little babby

Unlikely to be Oswin, but there is a 'connection.'
[QUOTE=alien_guy;37881789]The Angels have been ruined since blink.[/QUOTE]
Eh.
They're just being written poorly. There's no real menace. Plus they always change how they work and shit. It's like turning on a Dalek episode and it sprouting legs and running after The Doctor and co and the writer going "THIS IS TERRIFYING. DALEKS DOING SOMETHING NEW AT FULL POWER" when in reality it's just a "What? Why?" situation.
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
Plus the amount of times somebody isn't looking at them and they don't move anyway. Or somebody clearly is looking at them but we do silly camera tricks to show them moving quicker. It's like they're not trying to catch people, just chase them.
Moffat must have enjoyed Jenna on Titanic.

are you a girl
if so, good on you lass
Noel Clarke.
Now upcoming Hollywood actor and a man who is considered one of the great young British director was in Doctor Who over half a decade ago. You might remember him. He played Rickey, the character thought his name was Mickey despite The Doctor knowing best.
Anyway he wants to come back to Doctor Who

Say what you want about Mickey but this guys output is wild. He works harder than a dog. Not a Labrador either but a Rottweiler at war time or something.

not at all, but its so ambiguous i'd just like to know
We've already established Grizz is a bear. We even found a picture. Proof enough.
[QUOTE=Grizz;37885690]Why I hate those who squeeze the life out of their gender for the sake of phantom attention.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, it's kinda shameful when one sees some squealing attention whore who's all like "LOOK AT MEEEEE I'M A GIRL!" just for the sake of attention. That being said I don't really have anything against the sex industries (porn and prostitution); if they're being professionals and doing what they do for a valid reason (aka not being annoying attention whores), then i'm ok with their choice of profession.
But are these sentiments kind of double standard or hypocritical, or are they ok?
ironman no one cares about your opinions ok

"That's not my hand because my hand's not white"
- Rustle T Davies at his best guys. That said. I do like this episode and wouldn't mind RTD writing standalone episodes every now and then. Moffat was a better stand-alone writer too. Maybe they're just not great show runners. Maybe that role shouldn't be left to a single writer but a group effort.
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
Technically THAT was Matt Smiths first unit story. Despite what people might tell you.

why didnt this song play at the end of the last episode? right in the heart
Part of me imagined The Doctor visiting the young Amelia just to say goodbye properly - before a Donna-esq memory wipe, tucking her in to bed (again) and giving one last "Bye, Bye Pond."
Fade to black.
Though I'm sure child cruelty laws would have intervened at some point. I don't know, might have made a little more sense than him telling her to be patient, only for her not to be. But, happy endings and all that. The freeze frame would probably have been more effective anyway.

[QUOTE]In 2003, Rebecca Whitaker died in a road accident. Her husband Mark is still grieving. He receives a battered envelope, posted eight years ago, containing a set of instructions with a simple message: "You can save her."
As Mark is given the chance to save Rebecca, it’s up to the Doctor, Amy and Rory to save the whole world. Because this time the Weeping Angels are using history itself as a weapon[/QUOTE]
Is this any good? Sounds it.

It should have ended like this... They go to get in the tardis, Rory is no where to be found and they go and look for him. Then Amy sees the grave and looks at the angel, blinks and disappears. Then the doctor gets pissed, that music plays as the camera pans out while the doctor cries in the tardis alone.

I like it until Amy rushed off and The Doctor cried. I prefer the sort of "He's clearly sad but let's leave him" approach.
