It's fucking scary because you would think of never seeing the significant jump of immigrants in your town but actually I did see it skyrocket in just a month. Oh and 4 streets next to mine theres already about 5 reported crimes including pepperspray and a beatdown by confirmed immigrants. There are actually groups forming in this town which patrol for "civil safety" in full gear because the police doesn't check certain roads often. Also the amount of police cars driving around is insane. I would never have thought of the start of something like this to be so noticable in an instant. I mean it's not easy for me, a native white male with a drivers license and truck license who is currently working on his bachelors degree, so you can imagine how hard it is for someone who comes from another country and barely speaks the language. I remember reading that according to SCB around 25% of immigrants with high education (above our equivalence of high school) are still looking for a full-time job here after 7 years. I want to help these people as much as everyone else and because of that I am very skeptical to the idea of just increasing the volume of legal immigration to Sweden while there might be other ways of helping.
