Hello Everyone especially to all women out there! I am new to this forum site and I am starting to appreciate all your post here at Facepunch. I agree, its been an International Women's Day. This means that women must be given a special recognition for being a good leader, a mom, a provider, adviser and for being a strong advocate. Cheers to all!

Because of the patriarchal society that we live in. Women can not even show their faces in public without the man oppressing them. This is why burqas were invented.
Men get the day in November because the cold is bracing and women can't take that.
The women get it in march because it's warmer and easier for them.

I live in northern va, where yesterday it was 70 and today was 25.
everyday is day of women for me. the most beautiful people on earth are women. i can walk across the world and just look at the women and the hair brushing with the wind and just stare , i think thats the best part about life really. i hope you had a great womens day women you really deserve such a day i think everyday should be day of women. i made this poem for the love of my life on womens day but i was too scared to tell her keep in mind im huge nba fan:
my heart is like basketball
it doesnt pump, it does dribbling
other people are my team
help the people in your life to get assists
follow your dream and goal
and you will get points!!
but without you my love
there is no air to my basketball!!
