and guys im assuming you feel marijuana, alcohol, and cigarettes should all be illegal right?
Stop side tracking because everyone's pointing out how wrong you are.
THEN WHY DID YOU MAKE THE STUPID COMPARISON?!
Because you aren't allowed to do whatever you want, whenever you want?
Stop side tracking because everyone's pointing out how wrong you are.
actually suicide is almost exactly the same as taking drugs.
I have to remember you're bi-polar Yaw, it explains why you're so mentally fucked in the head to be believing the stuff you're saying that contradicts its self.
Because you aren't allowed to do whatever you want, whenever you want?
NO you are allowed to take action that doesnt physically hurt other people or threaten other people's safety
Because you aren't allowed to do whatever you want, whenever you want?
BUT THIS IS AMERIZCA HUR HUR
I have to remember you're bi-polar Yaw, it explains why you're so mentally fucked in the head to be believing the stuff you're saying that contradicts its self.
are you honestly using my own mental illness as an argument against me? if anything i know more about the subject than you because of my own personal experience.
are you honestly using my own mental illness as an argument against me? if anything i know more about the subject than you because of my own personal experience.
Your own personal experience obviously isn't serving you well. If anything your own experience is clouding your judgment on the issue.
Your own personal experience obviously isn't serving you well. If anything your own experience is clouding your judgment on the issue.
quite a bit better than being stupid
tell the family that they think it was a suicide attempt, if a psychologist or counselor is on duty(almost always at least one) let the "victim" talk to the counselor. give references to psychologists and support groups. thats all that should be done.
And that will be done, which is why they where holding her, to determine if she was suicidal and to seek help when that is determined. She cut herself, went to the hospital which by your definition is a cry for help and lied about the suicide attempt which many suicidal people do. The doctor on call then made the determination that it was a possible suicide attempt. So in response the Hospital hold her to insure her saftey and to seek help if she was suicidal. Im not sure what part you dont agree with.
are you honestly using my own mental illness as an argument against me? if anything i know more about the subject than you because of my own personal experience.
It's called bias, would you believe a man who's family was destroyed by alcohol give a fair judgement on the subject?

You've never had that right. There are not many places in this world were you have the "right" to kill yourself. That is a right, you do not posses. Get over it, if you don't like it, kill yourself in a more affective way, or move away if you have such a problem. It's a tough shit situation, the doctors and the state know best when it comes to suicide.
the part where she wants to peacefully leave and gets dragged back into the hospital
Wouldnt determining the suicidal person is actually suicidal be the first step in treatment?
It's called bias, would you believe a man who's family was destroyed by alcohol give a fair judgement on the subject?
um wat? just because i have ACTUALLY GONE THROUGH THIS SHIT and KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE means that i am unable to say what these people actually go through and what they feel like? really?
It's called bias, would you believe a man who's family was destroyed by alcohol give a fair judgement on the subject?
I'd be surprised if Yaw knows what "bias" means or if he be able to identify himself being bias on any subject. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
um wat? just because i have ACTUALLY GONE THROUGH THIS SHIT and KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE means that i am unable to say what these people actually go through and what they feel like? really?
So you've been put on a 72 hour hold? are you glad to be alive right now? or atleast prefer to be alive than dead?
Wouldnt determining the suicidal person is actually suicidal be the first step in treatment?
that can be done in an hour or two of conversation with a psychologist. it doesnt take 72 hours.
He thinks she shouldn't be held because she has the "right" to kill herself. Which believe it or not, you don't have that right. You've never had that right. To govern. Govern is to "Conduct the policy, actions, and affairs of (a state, organization, or people)" The governments jobs are to conduct actions and polices of the state, organizations AND people. That is the basic definition of a government. That's its fucking job. To regulate your life. It always has, and always will. Every government has regulated peoples lives to a degree. you should read up on an anarchy government, sounds like something you would like.
that can be done in an hour or two of conversation with a psychologist. it doesnt take 72 hours.
Then why does the hospital not do this?
Then why does the hospital not do this?
they should 72 hours is a way to pad the bill and racket more fucking money
thats wrong on so many levels if you dont understand how FUCKING EVIL that is then maybe you should be the one killing yourself [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] NEVER go into politics and NEVER go into psychology
So we shouldn't regulate people? so that means we shouldn't have laws. Prosecuting people for murder is regulation. Enforcing the law of drinking and driving is regulation of people. What the hell do you think the police force does? it enforces laws, it regulates people.
So we shouldn't regulate people? so that means we shouldn't have laws. Prosecuting people for murder is regulation.
they should 72 hours is a way to pad the bill and racket more fucking money
Then petition a bill to be made that hospitals can't take money when holding a patient under 72 hours to see if they're suicidal or not.
Then petition a bill to be made that hospitals can't take money when holding a patient under 72 hours to see if they're suicidal or not.
i cant petition
they should 72 hours is a way to pad the bill and racket more fucking money
You do realize that the ER is usually the largest money loser for hospitals.
see? your completely not understanding that suicide doesnt hurt other people, and thus should not be regulated. murder=\=suicide because suicide is victimless
Suicide is not victimless. You're bi-polar, if you had a manic episode right now, and killed yourself, would you, in your normal state of mind, knowing that that will happen be a victim of a alter state of mind that you can not control? What about your family? What about people who do suicide by cop, or kill themselves by jumping into traffic, is there a victim there? the person who ran them over is going to suffer emotionally, and even face charges. They're a victim. Your friends can be charged if they know that you're suicidal and didn't report it and you end up killing yourselfs, they're victims. It is not victimless.
You do realize that the ER is usually the largest money loser for hospitals.
which is exactly why they pad the bill [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
Suicide is not victimless. You're bi-polar, if you had a manic episode right now, and killed yourself, would you, in your normal state of mind, knowing that that will happen be a victim of a alter state of mind that you can not control?
it wouldnt matter because i would be dead. i cant feel anything when that point is reached.
What about your family?
have i physically hurt them or threatened their safety? then they are not victims.
What about people who do suicide by cop, or kill themselves by jumping into traffic, is there a victim there? the person who ran them over is going to suffer emotionally, and even face charges. He's a victim.
suicide is generally self contained. if someone hurts another person in order to die it is not suicide, it is provoking death.
Your friends can be charged if they know that you're suicidal and didn't report it and you end up killing yourselfs.
thats dumb
It is not victimless.
yes it is
which is exactly why they pad the bill
They're not pading the bill, you're being paranoid. (Which is common in bi-polar people)
They're not pading the bill, you're being paranoid. (Which is common in bi-polar people)
they are forcing you to pay extra money for something without your consent and without due process of law.
