Why is it that Republican's are always sterotyped as ignorant Christian's?
They're not all that way, a large amount are atheist.
[editline]11:54PM[/editline]
Like myself.
[editline]11:55PM[/editline]
Also all the folks in that video are Southern. There's your problem.
The guy is like "we didn't vote for this healthcare he planned"
Well, retard, what about the war? Who the fuck voted for the war?

The general population of America after 9/11 were in favor of the Invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.
We went in, did what we needed to do, maybe it's time to pull out, maybe not, I'm not ready to pick a side.

People who wanted tax cuts
Of course It was too bad they were all middle class :downs:
Bush was the worst president ever.

You see, I don't understand the reasoning behind this blind hatred of Bush.
It's like when Hover got elected, not long after the Great Depression started.
He was the President, he didn't start the Great Depression, but he was the President, so they hated and blamed him for it.
It's basically the same thing in this situation.
Snip
I find it impossible to explain what I believe in everytime someone feels the need to bash Republicans for the sole purpose of egging on the uneducated religious nut sterotype.
Like if I went to every thread that mentioned Democrats or Obama I'd shout about how they're a bunch of Tree Hugging Hippies.

Look, I'm not saying blind hatred was justified in this situation, but more of a fact check.
1. Bush promised as his campaign driver tax cuts for all, only he did not deliver and he gave them only to the high class, and forced more upon those who were in the middle/low class, forcing people into welfare, wasting government money.
2. Bush started the Iraq war, a war that wasted millions to billions of government money that we could have easily saved if we were to make a treaty early with the somewhat stable middle eastern countries and stopped the Taliban/Terrorists. Now holocaust elitists are joining the party in '09.
3. In all of this, the recession started and millions and billions of dollars were lost on a buisness/economical scale.
And all of this happened under his leadership, I'm no obama elitist, and I'm not saying that all of his goals are not almost impossible tasks. But this is horrid to think about.
These people are a bad example of the republican party, just like how there are bad examples of the democratic party, these are ignorant people who are just like there are ignorant people in the democratic party. We both have morons in our respective parties, now shut the fuck up and get over it. Oh, by the way, I am republican and I am a christian. There, I have labeled myself for you to throw insults. :patriot:
Atta' boy Joe. Represent the Party. I don't usually mention it, or be trolled and flamed.
Anyway, I'm going to bed, I look forward to the stimulating conversation that will surely be produced in this thread.
Bush wasn't the Best president ever, I agree- But i hold no hatred of him, nor of his family,
Might I also state that he was not the worst.
Also, alot of people make promises before in office, and then find that it is near impossible to enact unless supported... which requires a large sum of money and makes a big loop-hole for the corrupt to grasp

I agree as well, even though I am an independent(Mostly democratic/liberal) I do know that the republican party is not all stupid. But it's last false swoops at attempts to effect politics at large have been really, really dumb.
Sarah palin wtf.
Also "YOU LIE"

I thought the *You lie* event quite humorous, Though most people found it distasteful-
I find our president cursing fellow Americans for mistakes quite distasteful myself, But I do realize that
we are human and that outbursts are in our Nature from time to time.
I also Realize that One's political party does not automatically make you Inferior/Superior
My Best friend is severely democrat, When we talk politics we get into a rather large debate~
But debates aside we are the best of friends and share similar Non-Political interests

I was about to go to bed, but I don't want to be rude.
1 and 3 I won't dispute, I'll assume your correct, I'm not very aware of the Economics of our recent history so I can't say much. But I'll just go ahead and say - Everyone makes mistakes.
2, however I will dispute. Basically, the way the politics work in the Middle East is "We all hate America" with the exception of Israel, our only Ally there. So we couldn't exactly hand them money and expect countries that dislike us (Due to several different reasons ranging from spiritual, traditional culture and political issues.) to find the 'bad guys' for us, when the bad guys to them are more or less heros or atleast respected people.
Also, everyone was in favor of the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. The American People, Congress, The Pentagon, etc. we needed someone to pay for 9/11, we had so much patriotism and pride that someone had to pay, Saddam has been a sore on the collective of the Democratic Countries asses for years, we find out they helped to fund and aided in the 9/11 attack, so we invade them and kick out Saddam as a BIG bonus.
Short sighted, maybe, yes. But Bush himself wasn't the sole reason we went to war. Everyone seems to have forgotten about that hard time after 9/11.
I could go further into this, but I'm rather tired. I'll be back tomorrow to see what arguments or flames I've received.
Anyway, TL;DR
Bush didn't start the war, alot of people did, even you most likely. He wasn't perfect but he's not the anti-christ.
Respect your elders boy.
i don't respect people who worship glenn beck
Also, to the whole "YOU LIE" "Kanya West is a jackass"
I found them both humorus, I don't understand why it's such a big deal. Disrespectful, it may be, but I don't think anyone should take it so seriously.
Even more so when they accused that poor senator of racism. That's just low.

Yes, I actually have these conversations as well.
Also, I found "YOU LIE" quite distasteful myself. Your yelling at the president of the US giving a speech when your an elected senator. I found it very childish, but even that aside I lol'd quite hard :v:
Also, If your just a plain out right/left winged person, as if you will not consider one another's opinion, you are inferior. As In your an Obama elitist.

I apologize but I (On high possibility of my own Fault) Cannot understand this sentence, please explain
Some of the protests are actually quite intelligent from what I've seen. But still, they all spill the same shit we always here from these types. I disagree with public healthcare, but these people have no fucking idea what they're doing, they're marching on the streets preaching the same shit they hear at Fox. But you can't say all republicans are stupid, because not all republicans are alike, just like Southern Dems are way different than the Democrats in California. Most republicans and democrats have intelligent arguments and back them up with multiple sources of information, but you'll always have the radicals and the reactionaries to make the parties look bad.

I shall not dispute that it was a patriotic and the right thing to do to start the war Iraq war, we needed to kick some ASS out of those assholes, but if we could have strategized and planned more better for our political actions in the middle east we probably wouldn't have to be there today.
how do you boycott hollywood

As in your a complete liberal/conservative, and will not respect other political viewpoints.
Its these differences that make us Find the logical Answer, All these viewpoints make us strong.
If one party was to disband and all their ideas to be struck from our/their minds it would affect the entire system in such a way as to destroy all we know and Love.
We must always have the
-Independants
-Republicans
-Democrats
-Liberals
Even if we disagree with their beliefs we must accept that without one-another our minds would dull without opposition to keep us sharp and attentive.
Although there are some that cannot Aid us, Radicals and an example of Destructive politics-

Ah, Yes there are indeed stubborn ends of politics that serve to weigh-down the few who do right.

show a dislike or ill-feeling towards unlisted political parties.
Please do pardon that mistake.

We should all follow in his example :worship:
Also, I think this thread has gotten a little off track, maybe we should talk about more how these people make a bad example of republicans?
I do Try, But I like a calm debate.
Too much anger on forums these days, Isn't healthy to be constantly angered wouldn't you agree?
No not really, nice people get fucked over by people like me.

Hehe, Nah- Just do what you know in your heart to be right.
Besides, act nice all the time and when a flamewar breaks out you get labeled a troll, Well sometimes anyway.

Perhaps, but I do not think this thread is the proper place for it if any.
