Driver hits pedestrian gets attacked by bystanders then crashes trying to escape - General

The driver did nothing wrong. Not only did he have right of way, the crowd decided to cuss him out and break his windshield causing the whole situation to snowball out of control. They should owe HIM money in damages.

The only mistake the driver did was drive into the crosswalk. It does look like the one who got hit walked on a red light though. I don't blame her for trying to drive away after having her car aggressively assaulted. Good thing she didn't get out of the car.

Looks like there was people in the back of the car and I think that driver was a woman.

Woman crossed on a red (Bad) Driver reversed and stopped (Good, don't want to be that person who sit their car ontop of someone) Mob of dumbshits immediately become hostile and call out to bust the windows (Bad) Driver drove off from angry mob attacking him/her (Good, self defense at that point) Mob chases driver as he/she hits another vehicle (Can't see shit with the windshield busted so not their fault for that one) All in all, angry mob is in the wrong here. And it all could have been prevented if that dumb girl didn't decide to jay walk.

If someone jumped on my car like that? I would fucking drive away to anywhere I can, and even more when people who look and act like that are around. Jesus christ, poor driver didn't even get a chance to get out or anything before the mob attacked. Also, the one who put it on tape is quite stupid considering it was probably like 'oh look at this thrash lol we wreck the car cause we good' will probably help the driver more. (might be mistaken about who uploaded but he was with that crowd I think?).

It looks like there was at least one guy trying to get people to calm down and motioning for them to move away from the car. Of course nobody was listening to him.
