Holy fuck I thought this was some CGI trailer shit at first, what the fuuckk!
Best E3 ever.
Have you seen though fucking bulletholes in the window? Greatest bullet holes I ever seen.
Is this a pvp mmo or a co-op multiplayer with like 10 friends?
It bugs me so much how they pretend what they're showing isn't staged. Like they're trying to act out what they intend for the real co-op to look like.
It could look like that if you find your self with some mature gamers.
Is this a pvp mmo or a co-op multiplayer with like 10 friends?
"Massively Multiplayer RPG" [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] So i'm assuming it's an MMO but with a smaller player base unlike huge servers with 10,000 players. More like a planetside 2 continent size
I'm pretty sure it's running on some variant of Frostbite, by the looks of it.
I'm pretty sure it's running on some variant of Frostbite, by the looks of it.
Looks more like the engine used for Watch Dogs, honestly.
From how it looks right now, it's fucking awesome. Hopefully they don't go around changing a ton by release and messing it up.
I'm pretty sure it's running on some variant of Frostbite, by the looks of it.
Why would EA let Ubisoft, one of their biggest rivals in the market, use their proprietary engine? Edit: Scratch that its a brand new engine, even better.
Holy Moly o.o

It had that weird blippy sunspot / mud on your goggles kind of view like it does in BF3 and the BF4 gameplay shown. [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] 5:47 on the left side of the screen to see what i'm talking about
so this is like WOW and battlefield combined?
Other than how quickly they talk about things, that sounds like normal game conversations to me.
I want this game to be released soon or during the release of the PS4.. I'll buy it as long as their sub fees with this game.
Other than how quickly they talk about things, that sounds like normal game conversations to me.
I actually thought it was AI at first and was floored at how natural it sounded. Once I realised it was players it instead became just a tinge unnatural for an actual voice, like you said, probably because they're pretty brief about everything.
Is this a pvp mmo or a co-op multiplayer with like 10 friends?
It's both; at the end, one of the party members states that they've run into another group of players, and they start fighting. It seems like missions themselves are co-op, but you can fight players in the meantime if you want. I wouldn't be surprised, either, if some players are friendly and some are hostile, as the game's website writes how you can choose to treat NYC's inhabitants however you want.
Looks great Realistically though... The level of detail in the level design cannot possibly be that thorough through the whole game. My guess is a smallish map, asshole player groups, and grinding by raiding the same locations over and over again. That kind of cooperative play looks great with friends, but the way that quadrotor guy came in out of the blue will probably just not happen ever
Thats one of the big things we'll notice in this "next-generation". The graphical leap it self wont be as from PS2 to PS3, unless u compare the first PS3 games with these PS4 games... But the size of games and level of details will increase because of all the new computing power. You can have much more going on on the screen at any give time, without lag. Can't wait to see the games that come out after they really got the full potential out from the PS4. Always takes a couple of years. [editline]11th June 2013[/editline]
Other than how quickly they talk about things, that sounds like normal game conversations to me.
It's clearly players speaking. Listen to what they say. At one point they talk about fixing their skillpoints.
Between this and Destiny, my itch for persistent online FPS/RPGs has most certainly been scratched.
It's clearly players speaking. Listen to what they say. At one point they talk about fixing their skillpoints.
Well duh. Thats why I said game conversations
Sweet damn this looks amazing!
I want to know if you can come across other players and fight them
I want to know if you can come across other players and fight them
I think that's what happens at the end of the video.
Reminds me of what SOCOM's co-op should have been on the PS2, those were probably my favorite games of that era, so I really hope with the next-gen-ness this feels like something similar. I will be paying attention to this
Man, This looks really good. As in, if thats gameplay (Proper gameplay, Not this In-engine rubbish) I will buy it for sure. This is what social gaming should really be like.
Now I can't wait to watch Criken play it :v:
$5 isn't much for playing online on a console, might as well buy one if this game has nice reviews.
Looks like this is going to be the new style of modern games and I'm fine with it
I hope UbiSoft gets nervous by the XBone reactions and makes a PC port ála Rayman Legends. Or maybe even Rayman Origins, wouldn't mind waiting. I mean this is all x86 architecture, right?
