I can't believe people couldn't figure out it was 3 people playing and talking to each other. I mean, the first 3 minutes, sure - I thought it was voice actors... but when they start talking about their skill points and group heals? Come on...

That's when everyone else figured it out too. I mean I actually figured it out right around when the girl joined up, but I doubt anyone thought it was AI and voice acting all the way through to the end.

ehh, I agree with you somewhat, if driving is involved then a gamepad is always better than a keyboard and mouse. But I think shooting with a gamepad is harder than using a mouse, but movement is easier with a gamepad. There is pluses and cons to both.

Shooting is harder, but it still feels a lot better to play a third person game with a gamepad, shooter or not.

I play fine in third person shooters on the PC. And that should not be the reason they don't port the game to the PC

Eh. Every game that has had an original console release and then later a PC release (minus maybe Halo: CE) hasn't been pulled off very well in my opinion. Unless the PC version is a planned release already along side with the console release that they just haven't announced yet, i'm feeling that i'll prefer the console version

IMO third person shooters control the exact same way as first person shooters, move around/ aim.. Only difference is one of them shows your characters butt while the other doesn't.

I've experienced better teamwork than that in Warframe, Dod:s, and Killing Floor.

I hope this comes for PC, but considering it's Ubisoft I'm pretty confident. They have kicked a lot of ass recently on PC (and overall).
Im hoping this will turn out to be DayZ style where we can say "lets head over to times square theres a lot of action" and just try to wipe out people aside from quests.

The fact that one shows it from a first person perspective and the other pivots around your character is what, to me, makes all the difference.
Third person games just work better [B]IMO[/B] with a gamepad.

Play some Dota 2 at high levels (hell, even LoL with a high ranking lvl 30) and you'll end up with players teamworking because that's the only way to win.
I get the vibe The Division will be that kind of game. Even if it's not, just gather some friends and have some teamwork.

Get some good friends who have microphones together. Whenever I play games like battlefield solo I usually go off on my own, but when I can co-ordinate with people I know then we band together and go kick some ass.
If this game has any sort of inventory lost on death feature or any sort of punishment for dying other than respawning then I can see this getting intense as fuck with friends. I can get so fucking loud playing battlefield with friends, and that's just a five second respawn time. Imagine what would happen when items and progress are on the line.
I hope this doesn't end up like how Defiance turned out.
