Fishing is something that I did as a kid with my dad, but I've been wanting to do it again a lot recently.

Just barbless catch and release.

I remember like nothing about it, and I don't live in a great city for it.

That's basically how I started fishing again. I used to go out with my father when I was 6 or 7 with him to go fish, then we stopped when some personal stuff happened.

Then a couple years ago, a random memory of that came to me and I thought, "I want to go fishing again". And so my father and I did again.

Just catch and release, though. I don't particularly like the taste of fish and my mother has forbidden us from bringing any home for fear of disease/smell/alien microbes (she'll make any excuse, really).

I miss living near the great lakes, we used to catch salmon out of Lake Michigan and eat them smoked.

Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. I use to fish 18 Mile and Cattaragus Creek for just about every trout run. Started fishing them when I was two.
