I am going back to picking up acoustic guitar in favor of electric.
I am thinking of putting in nylon strings, is this a good idea?

Have you ever tried them? Cause I personally don't like nylon strings, but its up to you.
Oh, and here's my Ibanez

I prefer steel, but it depends what type of music you play. Nylon is good for classical guitar. It's all about the sound and feel you want, so try it out and see if it works for you.

DUDE
That guitar looks fucking AWESOME
Does it play as good as it looks?
I like Ibanez...well, except for their Gio series...but still, their guitars are pretty good from what I've tried out.

Well, it's amazing in my opinion.. but I haven't had the chance to try out many others. So I'm not sure how it would compare.
I've never regretted buying it though, sounds great to me.

Nylon strings are good for classic stuff.
I have a Jeff Hanneman Sig. ESP. and I love it sooo much.

The main reason I got it was because the inlays are H's and my last name starts with a H. I also have a Dean VMNTX and a marshall 15w. Does anyone know if the Randall RX120RH is good?
My future dream guitar is a Dean ML.
Dean Ml's way so much it's not even funny, especially when you've gone from playing an ibanez :p
Thanks, I got it for $350 at a local shop.
I took some pictures of it, too.

The guitar on the left is my shittastic Fender Starcaster, which is just a strat copy made by Fender.
Um, actually a starcaster is a semi hollow version of the stratocaster. If you put some good pickups in it, it'd probably be a pretty kickass guitar.

That's an LTD.
I don't like whammy bars that have that fat tip.
Got my VOX VT30 today. Man this amp is great. Has everything from lovely, chimey clean sounds, with warm overdrive, and some high gain metal presets. I love it :D
Does anyone here have any experience with Mayones Guitars? I was drawn to them after finding out that Piotr Grudzinski (Riverside) uses them. They seem to be my sort of thing, all of them are hand made in Poland, and only cost about $2000 AUS. Any opinions?
Hi, it's me again...

My guitar is getting a new paint job soon.

NO! That one is awesome!
In other news, I can't see any sign of the ESP I want, the only info I can find on it is in the "coming this fall" section on the ESP site.

My mistake, apparently it's called the Starcaster by Fender, not the Fender Starcaster. According to wikipedia, anyways.
"The Starcaster by Fender (not to be confused with the older Fender Starcaster) is a range of instruments and accessories aimed at beginners, from the prominent guitar company Fender."
It's a solid-body, as well.

My mistake, that probably is shitty xD
One might think they purposely made that confusing.
Would anyone be able to tell me what sort of grade Roulette Dares (The Haunt Of) by the Mars Volta would be, for guitar?
Considering pieces for my A2 performing and I want something at least at grade 6 or so; but I've never done my grades so I don't know what sort of caliber any of them are.

That's all my gear at moment. will probably buy a Dunlop SW-95 crybaby soon (slash crybaby) or an epiphone SG G-400.or a roland cube 80-x for more power.
EDIT: Sorry for the pictures quality, took these with my Iphone.
Bitch so many guitars
I think 2-3 is a good amount for any guitarist to have. Having more is fine but it just means you have to shell out that much more which isn't really worth it. Who needs 6 guitars? lol
I only use the Jay turser and the first accoustic now. the ibanez needs repair (and re-string lol) and the other.. i jsut dont like it. the neck is too big and other things like that. and I actually only bought the jay turser, the amp and the ds-1. the accoustic (backup) was belonging to my mother , the other was given to my bro but he stopped playing and the ibanez was given by a neighbor like 10 years ago even tho I only started guitar last year)

Thinking of getting this golden brick of power, opinions?

Good way to put it.
I have 7, should have 8 but one got stolen and I don't know where that went. I'd love to try for a steel next but I need a new job :(
