I've been listening to some Black Sabbath recently, Tony's a real good guitar player. Listening to Masters of Reality, I like him.
I think 2-3 is a good amount for any guitarist to have. Having more is fine but it just means you have to shell out that much more which isn't really worth it. Who needs 6 guitars? lol
Metallica has over 200 guitars. That's just ridiculous. Finished up my second guitar, and I am looking to sell it. Don't get your hopes up if you do want to buy it though, as I am trying to sell local :p Specs: - African Mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, satin walnut body. - Standard Ibanez stock pickups. Yes, I am going to cut those strings off. getting Sounds of these guitars are awesome. Changed my mind. LTD's aren't as good as the ESP's (same company not as high quality. I own an Epiphone Les Paul, an old Starfield and a Washburn acoustic guitar. Couldn't find any pictures of 'em on the web, maybe I'll take a picture another time. :v:
That looks awesome. I always like the ESP eclipse shape. What model is it?
That is the ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Stealth edition. Beautiful Guitar. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-Deluxe-EC1000-Stealth-Electric-Guitar?sku=476287 Bit cheaper than the ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 FR because the FR has a wammy bar this doesn't. MSRP are 200 bucks difference, and this is on sale for 50 bucks less than the FR, so I will just get this. I don't want a wammy bar anyways, and the pickups are exactly the same.
I am trying to sell local
Where is your "locale"?

Wow Not One Person Has A Gibson Flying V I Love the way they look
Wow Not One Person Has A Gibson Flying V I Love the way they look
because you can't really play them sitting down and that sucks
because you can't really play them sitting down and that sucks
Yeah you can. It's very easy, you just gotta get used to it. [editline]10:05PM[/editline] On another note. Does anyone have experience with Randall amps? if so how were they?
I realized after going to a friend's house that Drop C is a ridiculous tuning and should never be used. The guitar sounds horrible.
I realized after going to a friend's house that Drop C is a ridiculous tuning and should never be used. The guitar sounds horrible.
He doesn't know how to tune it. It sounds like any other tuning, but lower.
He doesn't know how to tune it. It sounds like any other tuning, but lower.
The quality is so muddy and shitty though, there is no point in ever going down that low, it gets to the point of it not even being musical.
The quality is so muddy and shitty though, there is no point in ever going down that low, it gets to the point of it not even being musical.
Lets not get into this argument.
The quality is so muddy and shitty though, there is no point in ever going down that low, it gets to the point of it not even being musical.
I play drop A sometimes. Depends REALLY much on the quality of the guitar. Also what bands do you listen to?
He probably doesn't have heavy enough strings.
Yeah you can. It's very easy, you just gotta get used to it. [editline]10:05PM[/editline] On another note. Does anyone have experience with Randall amps? if so how were they?
did not know this
Edited: On another note. Does anyone have experience with Randall amps? if so how were they?
A friend of mine own a Randall RG50TC Combo, and he is very pleased with it. I haven't tried it out yet, though.
Does anybody know the difference between Alnico V Humbuckers and Alnico Classic Humbuckers?
One Alnico V humbucker contains a stronger magnet than the Alnico Classic Humbucker, resulting in more output.
I'm nowhere near the best guitarist in the world and my playing (rambling) was recorded through a 19€ web microphone so the quality sucks but I impro'd over the Early Morning Rain as played by Agents & Jorma Kääriäinen. http://dump.no/files/76028043a53c/morningimpro1.mp3 http://dump.no/files/76028043a53c/morningimpro2.mp3 I basically just fired the song and my guitar up and recorded something because the song is just so awesome. :v:
One Alnico V humbucker contains a stronger magnet than the Alnico Classic Humbucker, resulting in more output.
Great, thanks that was really helpful :D
Wow Not One Person Has A Gibson Flying V I Love the way they look
I know, WTF? No Vs or Explorers anywhere.
