Anyone like Rush? I was just learning Xanadu
I like to play Spirit of the Radio. And YYZ- even if it's a bit too difficult for my skill level.
Anyone like Rush? I was just learning Xanadu
YYZ is fucking awesome to play!
is it true that guitarists finger girls better
Only with our left-hands. Hey a question to all my fellow guitar players, know any good guides to buying electrics?
Only with our left-hands.
Learn to fingerpick.
I'm planning on buying a new guitar from Ibanez, not sure which model yet. I'm gonna use it to play things like Deftones, Tool, ... I've got around 3-400 €. What should I get?
An ESP guitar, top notch.

thinking about getting a peavey vypyr 30w sometime soon. anyone had any experience with them?
Peavey Vypyr 30 review. The distortion sounds a bit off in this video, but I guess it's only because it's youtube. I have no experience with this particular amplifier, but Peavy has some really good stuff.
I have a fender precision bass, doesn't get much more standard than that.
Question for anyone who's been playing for a while and can really stretch that fourth finger on the fretting hand to get it to go where you need it to: Were your fingers naturally able to stretch like that or did they become able to through practice and whatnot?
Just practice the answer is always practice

I mean, when I started I couldn't even stretch enough to play a powerchord with my first and third fingers :v: it sounds stupid now.
practice or have big hands most people practice

I think it looks awesome. I didn't end up buying it thought, I still can't decide if I want a guitar or a bass.
[img_thumb]http://www.zikinf.com/_gfx/matos/dyn/large/epiphone-emily-the-strange-g-310.jpg[/img_thumb]
That one is very pretty!!

My third finger could only reach one fret away from my first finger. Fun times.
Ah, the fun days of when I very first started playing. I couldn't do a power chord because I couldn't hit 2 strings at once. Then again, I didn't even know what a power chord was.
ugh.. why does everyone like the Emily the Strange guitar? It's such a girly scene brand.
ugh.. why does everyone like the Emily the Strange guitar? It's such a girly scene brand.
I agree entirely.
ugh.. why does everyone like the Emily the Strange guitar? It's such a girly scene brand.
Never heard of "Emily the Strange". I just like the artwork.
Whats the difference between a chord and a power chord?
Whats the difference between a chord and a power chord?
normal chords sound messy when played through distortion. power chords sound better through distortion. this is a basic powerchord shape (B5): and this is a regular chord (B): you can see the shape difference, and when you play them you will see the sound difference.
Power chords don't have thirds.
Never heard of "Emily the Strange". I just like the artwork.
That's exactly what I thought, I don't care if the brand has a stigma of "scene" attached to it. It just looked pretty sweet and like a drug trip so i got it.
