How can you say it's about time that he died, and then say R.i.P

Les Paul did things in the studio that revolutionized music.
[editline]07:03PM[/editline]
respect
I have problems playing LP's sitting, but they feel great standing
More importantly, R.I.P. Les Paul, the man who made the solid-body electric.
Not the first.

Mind fuck
First of all, Rest in peace Les Paul.
And now, I have this problem with my strat (highway one strat, with some "vintage style" tremolo or something). where the intonation screw on my high E string isn't getting grip of the saddle, so the saddle falls back (closer to the headstock) and my E string won't stay intonated. Can I fix this somehow or do I have to buy a new screw/saddle?
Why's that?
Because the frets are all wickidy whim wham wozzle. 'TIS CRAZY.
[editline]01:04AM[/editline]
Also RIP Les :(
the top layer of metal has come off the frets and you can see lines going across now. thing is i've only had this guitar for about a month now.
Frets are supposed to be flattened on top so the string has a more solid point of contact when fretted.
is it a bad idea to run a bass guitar through an electric guitar effects pedal into a bass amp.
Hey, my HH Fender Jaguar finally came in the mail today!
I immediately had to ship it back because it was broken.

No, the effect just won't sound the same or be as effective.
No, the effect just won't sound the same or be as effective.
thanks. i'd buy a bass pedal but im too cheapass :buddy:
No, the effect just won't sound the same or be as effective.
Aren't Big Muffs used by bassists too?
I guess it more depends on the kind of effect
No, the effect just won't sound the same or be as effective.
I use guitar effects and they are super effective on my bass.
I use a DS-1 on my bass alot, Gives a nice mids-scooped drenched-in-distortion sound combined with my amps mid-boost settings and it sound awesome, bit Like Around the world by the chili peppers.
Used it in so many gigs, I would call it effective.
Phase90s sort of work aswell, the EVH one atleast (If it's any different, the switch seems to help the low end out).

Got this last week, Epiphone DR.
You look shocked to see it on the last picture.
Awesome design, but what are sharpies?

Permanent markers.
I'm just getting into playing the electric guitar, I have an Ibanez ART100 in transparent cherry, it's sexy.
So far I'm loving every minute of playing, I'd be playing right now if my back wasn't giving me a hard time.
Camera phone pictures.

Also, intro to Hangar 18 in incredibly fun.

Can anyone identify this? So far, I know it's an Ibanez, and nothing else.

Actually, that happens when the frets are leveled, and not polished off with fine sand paper and steel wool.
It's not really a problem, but it's a sign that the manufacturer was a bit lazy.
Take a look at this:

I picked up my acoustic after another long hard painful shoot me in the face for the love of god day and i've been having a lot of fun with it since. It's 9pm though so I have to either play softly or just wait until tomorrow and hope I still have my creativity
Working through the Speed Kills DVD. Seems to have some good exercises.

Shit son, before you'll notice you will be playing a quadguitar
I'm trying to find a new acoustic that's under £400. My Ibanez V50 sounds great after being played for so long but i'm sure i could find something alot better. Any suggestions guys?
