No, I usually only notice trolls when they use limited grammar like you do.
There are 4 guitars in my house... And I don't play. I occasionally play a little.
An electric, an electric-acoustic, an acoustic and a Spanish acoustic.

What the fuck are you supposed to do with 8 strings?
What the fuck are you supposed to do with 8 strings?
Play Meshuggah, I guess. They're the only band I know of that uses 8-strings. The only reason I know that is because everyone gets hard over their polyrhythms and 8-string guitars.
What the fuck are you supposed to do with 8 strings?
Interesting riffs. Interesting music. Have fun.
That's like asking "What do you do with a guitar anyways?"
You could do some bitching covers of Pravus by Meshuggah, and you could do some fucking awesome open tunings.

schecter c-1 plus if you're wondering

8 string
i have the six string version of that, and it is a very good guitar
c-1 hellraiser
but in my opinion, the whole c-1 series is great from what i've played from them
Just got myself a 'FAB" flange pedal today, sounds pretty kickass. I went to the music store, and they had the "BOSS" pedals for $130 and I was like "WAT."
The FAB was a nice alternative, the shopkeeper openly said that there was next to no difference in sound between the two brands. Apparently there was only a $105 difference. I really like that store, the shopkeepers don't try to bullshit you into buying the expensive stuff.

Badass contrapuntal tapping. The main reason I want a six string bass.
Just got myself a 'FAB" flange pedal today, sounds pretty kickass. I went to the music store, and they had the "BOSS" pedals for $130 and I was like "WAT."

What would you even do with that?
I can understand 7 for people that play things in lower tunings, but 8?
Drop F?

So low, it doesn't even register in the human ear.

As if 6 strings aren't enough to be creative and interesting. Why not learn to play a 6 string really, really well before moving onto the cumbersome, manufacturing inefficient 8 string guitar. Not even Jimi Hendrix needed an 8 string guitar, I have a hard time believing you do. If you want lower tones, just change your tuning.
I mean, you can get some sorta cool sounds with an 8 string, but we have really yet to see how they do in the real music world where people use guitars for things other than just dicking around.
Ugggghhhh my Epiphone SG can't even handle a 9 to 10 gauge jump :sigh:
I got about three strings in when the head started buzzing like a motherfucker, so now I gotta go unscrew the tiny cover on the head and fuck with the truss, which I never like to do. I was originally just going to go back to 9s, but when I played my strat with its new 10s, it sounded so beastly that I can't go back.
Also, should I keep the bone nut on my strat, or should I put a graphite one in? I heard that the graphite nuts are good, because they let the strings slide really easy when using the tremolo.

Eh, I know of ONE good application (Scale the Summit).
It's a rare find, but I suppose an 8-string can be pretty cool. I do, however, see the practicality in owning a 7-string.

I wouldn't worry too much about the string sliding with a strat trem, if you have a floating trem, it would make more sense.

The extra strings are the lower ones. First thing he played was on the lowest string.
Or do you mean the high B and E strings?
I've been playing a lot of Green Day songs acoustically.
I slapped some electric strings on my acoustic (I have a nice acoustic so it still sounds good) and I've been having a fucking blast.

The guitar has two extra low strings. F# and B
