Oh god. Someone ruined a telecaster. There's nothing wrong with the tele's headstock.
Except that it doesn't look very secure when held in a hercules AGS stand :v:
The guitar has two extra low strings. F# and B
i thought he had 2 extra high strings
Never liked telecasters, they just look a bit "unfinished" to me.
I don't play guitar, but I fucking love Vs. Mostly cause Mustaine plays with Vs :v: My personal favourite:
i was gonna get the humbucker version of that V, but it was limited stock and they ran out when i finally got the money :saddowns:
Man... a Tele with a Strat-style headstock It's like a dream come true
I'd prefer a Strat with a Tele-style headstock.
does anyone know what this means? I think it is a grace note. http://www.nici.kun.nl/mmm/projects/domain7.html
ok, if I slide from 3-5 on both strings to 5-7 it seems to sound the same, just not as exact thanks
I reeeeeelly want this. So I'm saving up. Thank god Ibanez finally made a fixed bridge RG with EMGs. Also to the explorer discussion, I like the shape and all but they're not the greatest guitars to play (not the gibson explorer anyway) I'd want a James Hetfield style one, which is just a ESP explorer, exactly the same shape as the Gibson, in white, with EMGs. Also he wrote "EET FUK" on it, I'm not too sure what that means.
That looks pretty tasty as well.Mahogany or basswood body? [editline]06:13AM[/editline] EET FUK means James is a drunk asshole :v:

I really want Paul Gilbert's 2009 signiature but it's £1500! Plus I already have a really expensive guitar, what I really want is one with EMGs, so I think if I bought that then I woud end up still wanting a guitar with EMGs. this is it: How much would a Jackson SL2H Soloist sell for, in Shattered glass finish?
Dude didn't you just get that jackson soloist? And why don't you try bareknuckle pickups? higher output than EMG's and i think they are about the same price, plus they are hand wound and every review for them has been that they are pretty much godlike.
bareknuckle warpigs are the sex. hoping to get a set for christmas to put in my dean :monar:

Or maybe I'm keeping a poor track of the thread :(
Yeah, I got some inheritance money from a relative that recently passed away, so I used a bit of that to buy the soloist. I don't know though, I really like it, but it's perhaps not quite what I was looking for, I doubt I'd ever sell it because of it's rarity (rarity in the UK anyway, or at least it's high cost to import) But I'm a guitar freak so I just want more guitars :) I feel like I won't be satisfied until I get something with EMGs, I'm not saying they're the best pickups ever, but I set my eyes on them early on, so as I said I feel unsatisfied until I get some. I think I probably should have got the Jackson DK1 Dinky, which is the same as the soloist, but with the EMGs that I want, plus it has a bolt on neck, not through body. Also Bravehat could you recommend some good Bareknuckles? They sell them at my local guitar shop but I've never heard them. God I don't know what to do anymore, I always change my mind no matter what, and it pisses me off :(
Hey guys, I was recently interested in buying a wah pedal for my guitar. I am aiming for the Joe Satriani/Steve Vai kind of wah-sound. True bypass is always a plus too. I was looking into Dimebag's Crybaby seeming I heard great things from it and that it was slightly better than the 535Q which my friend had which I loved. However, I also heard great things from Ibanez's Weeping Demon and some of Vox's stuff. What do you guys prefer?
:words:
Well you could put EMGs in your Jackson, of you want that kinda sound so badly, that'd save a lot of money for you. And you can just change them back if you get bored with it. Unless you can't do it yourself, because guitar stores overcharge such simple soldering jobs(Not like I could do it but w/e :v:). Oh and high-output pickups like emgs and bareknuckles are only worth it with a decent tube amp, but I guess, if you have the soloist, that's not a problem for you

So after that I sort of forgot about the idea. However it's not only the pickups I want, I want a guitar with a fixed bridge, it may not seem like a big deal, but the Floyd Rose really fustrates me, if it's come out of tune or a string breaks, sometimes I just put the guitar back in it's case and don't touch it for ages, simply because I can't be bothered to tune it right or restring it. Does anyone have some really clear diagrams or really easy to follow tutorials for changing pickups?
the pickups should come with a wiring guide
So im building this wierd Electric guitar in the schools workshop, It's gonna be some semi hollow with dimarzio mics from an old jap guitar i found, and the neck to, the model is based from a F Jaguar. I'ma post pics next week when we got the wood for the front and the back :)

Yeah, I finally ordered my first electric guitar :buddy: Finally, I can move on from a 3/4 sized classical, even though I don't have an amp yet. I'm expecting it this Wednesday, I'll make sure to post pics.

Seriously you will jizz fucking bucket loads at these. Every review has said that they were amazing and that they wouldnt use any other pick up anymore, ma mates no different. The pickups built for rock and metal like the nailbomb thw warpig the painkiller etc etc. are all really high output, higher than most EMG's.
To change the topic a bit: How do you feel about people discovering new music through video games such as Guitar Hero or Rock Band?
i don't care as long as they listen to other stuff by the artist and not just that one song "hey do you like metallica" "yeah their song One is awesome" "yeah but it's not as good as master of puppets" "what's that"
What did you get?
Ibanez RGR321EX, I love the looks of it, and it's got an amazing neck, plays like a dream. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, I'll provide pics then:smile:
