I really hate it when people think only they should be allowed to enjoy a band/artist because they have done so for a long time or because they know everything about them. It's really elitistic and egocentric.
I never said anything like that. I just said they wear the shirts around for the image and not because they like the music. I also said that knowing the band members' names does not do anything to help your appreciation of the music. If we weren't allowed to listen to bands we didn't know much about, I wouldn't listen to half of the stuff I listen to now. And if we're going by time, then nobody would be allowed to listen to music because we'd all be new to it eventually.

Also, ANC Are TERRIBLE - 3 PAckages delivered by them, and they lost EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I got my new Ibanez rgr321ex  I don't have an amplifier yet, but I'll be buying an used Roland Cube 30X sometime this month. Who cares, it plays like a dream, the wizard II neck is extremely comfortable. Picture sucks because lack of daylight. Tomorrow I'll take some better ones:smile: Also no matter where I put it it still reflects my ceiling light and the camera turned that reflection orange.
How do you not have an amp but an awesome guitar it's just like impossibad
One thing I've always wanted to know, how does a Rickenbacker play? I've always wanted a Beatles-esque rickenbacker but I was always afraid it wouldn't be versatile.
One thing I've always wanted to know, how does a Rickenbacker play? I've always wanted a Beatles-esque rickenbacker but I was always afraid it wouldn't be versatile.
I heard they're fantastic, but I don't know all that much about them.

[editline]10:46PM[/editline]
the same postal system that is delivering it to the store would be delivering it to you
my mind = blown [editline]11:46PM[/editline] I just found this, and I think it proves a point, or at the very least I find it quite entertaining.
they play fucking amazing [editline]12:07AM[/editline] (concerning rickenbackers)
My friend is trying to get the ska band he is in to play He says if they refuses he leaves the band. the fact that it is tuned to A E A D F# B will make this a most interesting event.
How do you not have an amp but an awesome guitar it's just like impossibad
Well if I wanted to get an amp with a guitar on the same day, I'd had to settle for a cheaper guitar. But this way, it's waaay better:buddy:

There is no way they can pull it off
Uhh... right
i've got disabled images, my internet is crap [editline]01:55PM[/editline] Oh yeah, is it possible to take two singlecoils and make it into a humbucker? Do i need to rewire the copperwires round in a special way?
I got tired of having to clean green gunk from the bottom of the strings on my acoustic, did some searching and found it was due to having cheap strings. Ordered some Martin strings the other day, was about to put them on when I realised I didn't have one of those tools to pull the bridgepins out (it had been ages since I last changed strings, and that time I borrowed a friend's). Set out a couple of hours ago to the music shop near my house to go get one. Now after a longer, more effort-requiring and patience-testing than I thought experience, I've finally got them on. They sound great.
I find just pushing the string into the bridge-pin hole will un-wedge it and make removal easy enough without a tool. Everyone should have a string winder though!! Also, Elixir Strings = ROCK, I have had a set on my acoustic and a set on my bass, both out lasted my ernie ball super slinkies and other brand strings by 4 or 5 times the length of time for only 3x the cost... Worth it IMO - Thinking of using them as my sole brand of string.
One thing I've always wanted to know, how does a Rickenbacker play? I just broke my low E string :( Elixir 0.10 :( It lasted 3 months I believe, its not bad, since I am a bend freak. Do you give them hugz? :crying:

Its 8:15PM now. I doubt the local music store is still open. :v: You can mix string brands, right? I dont want to make some sort of mutant, and have to put down my guitar.
I have 3 Ernie ball stainless and one elixer on my jazz bass... Mixing brands is fine, Tonal balance can be off though, the elixers stay bright for damn near ever and as such it soudns oddly bright compared to the other strings on my bass :D
I recently restrung my guitar with GHS Boomers 0.105, 0.13, 0.17, 0.30, 0.40, 0.50. David Gilmour signature model They sound awesome
You don't need a special tool to pull them out just get some pliers
real men use their teeth. but thats bad because i tried doing that and cut my gum open.

The third one from the top still gives me a hard-on. Also, are those fretboards Pau Ferro?
Will people hate me if I buy a ESP LTD series guitar? Whenever someone has one people go "FUCK YOU THAT'S NOT A PROPER ESP YOU'RE SO POOR. YOU. ARE SO. POOR. GO JOIN THE LTD CLUB YOU FAGGOT FUCK. WE'LL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN YOU WITH OUR ESP STANDARD SERIES GUITARS." Maybe not those exact words, but that's the vibe I seem to be getting.
