Will people hate me if I buy a ESP LTD series guitar? Whenever someone has one people go "FUCK YOU THAT'S NOT A PROPER ESP YOU'RE SO POOR. YOU. ARE SO. POOR. GO JOIN THE LTD CLUB YOU FAGGOT FUCK. WE'LL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN YOU WITH OUR ESP STANDARD SERIES GUITARS." Maybe not those exact words, but that's the vibe I seem to be getting.
Ignore those fags, buy it if you like it
Ignore those fags, buy it if you like it
Thanks man :) I'm thinking again about buying a cheaper guitar and then installing EMGs after I've bought it. Some of these LTDs seem really good guitars, but arecondemned to shame by the "LTD" logo on the headstock.
h8ers gonna h8 ignore the h8ers

Can i get anyone's opinion on this? I have this old accoustic and i used to play and have been thinking about starting up again.. Its old and one of the strings snapped when i tried to tune it so i guess they are going to need replacing... But if i just bought new strings for it and got it tuned properly would it sound nice? or should i give up with it and just buy a new one? I just want to know because it is kind of old and a bit batterd but i think i should try and save it from its fate.. So what do you think? Save the old thing or buy a new one? or any suggestions on a cheapish accoustic for a starter? :guitar:

I think it would be awesome if I bought a Fender Strat HSS, with the humbucker in the bridge position, and replacing that humbucker with an EMG 81, that would be cool. [editline]08:31PM[/editline] ooooooooh, this looks nice http://www.dv247.com/guitars/esp-guitars-ltd-mh-401qmnt-electric-guitar-see-thru-black--61652
The third one from the top still gives me a hard-on. Also, are those fretboards Pau Ferro?
I'm not sure what wood is used for the necks, but my favorite one will always be my X-50
Okay, It's come to this: http://www.thomann.de/gb/esp_ltd_mh400_nt_stblk.htm Or http://www.thomann.de/gb/ibanez_rgt6exfx_bk.htm They're practically the same, but the LTD looks nicer, and it costs £20 more. I'm not sure how they play though, Ibanez do have a reputation for playability... but I've never heard bad things about ESPs, and I've heard that they have thin necks, which I really like.

Check some reviews on it
I just broke my low E string :( Elixir 0.10 :( It lasted 3 months I believe, its not bad, since I am a bend freak. Do you give them hugz? :crying:
I use elixir .010 - .046 They never break when I bend, or use my floyd rose >_<

As for the feel/playability, well, that's all up to you. See if you can test one somewhere.
fucking squealies/pinch harmonics pissing me off. they won't work for me :crying:
i can do them after a few tries i just need to pracice but i never do
B.C. Rich warlock for me and a Peavey Vyper 15w amp. Just got new strings and it sounds great = D I can do pinched harmonics on my guitar but it takes a few trys because it seems harder on others.

Isn't a 4 piece set a little small? I mean they are all awesome songs but 4 songs isn't really a gig.
Isn't a 4 piece set a little small? I mean they are all awesome songs but 4 songs isn't really a gig.
they're long songs
What the fuck are you supposed to do with 8 strings?
Play double bass.
In a string of what can only be described as bad luck I've hit a snag... I had accidentally undid the intonation on my guitar, so I had to redo that in about 10 minutes, in my haste I left one of the strings pretty poorly intonated... something I will have to personally fix at a later date... I thought to myself the worst was over... unfortunately not so.. as I was tuning the High E string the I must have not been paying attention or... something but I didn't get past A when that tell tale sign something was about to break occurred... I should have heeded the warning and let it sit so I went to tune it higher, I got to Bb when it flew off the peg, it didn't break but it fell off the peg, thinking it was nothing I went to retune it, but now it won't get past maybe Bb-B without falling back to Bb, this isn't Machine Head Bb this is like an octave down when you just put the string on. So now I've got to figure out how to do my solos without an E string... FUCK
Anyone have a good, correct guitar tab (not bass) of the Seinfeld theme? The ones I find searching are either very incomplete or just plain out wrong.
Well, hello again everyone. I've changed my mind again. BEHOLD: EMG 81 right there in the bridge position (it's atually a EMG 81TW so you get to use it as a single coil as well or something) It costs about the same as the other guitars I was thinking about, and it looks like pure sex.

I'm thinking of getting these for christmas: http://www.thomann.de/gb/emg_zakk_wylde_pro.htm Just a few questions though. 1. Are EMG's easy to wire? 2. My guitar only has 3 pots, what do I do with the other one in the set? 3. Would I need to strip all of the current electricals out of my guitar to put in this set?
Anyone have a good, correct guitar tab (not bass) of the Seinfeld theme? The ones I find searching are either very incomplete or just plain out wrong.
You just want the melody? Can't you figure it out on your own? It's not a very complicated song.
Anyone that uses Elixir strings, can you tell me if the treble strings go black very quick? With Ernie Ball super slinkies they always go black after less than a week and it sucks.
