I have an Ibanez SRX2EX1 bass

Very comfortable bass.
Nice Bass :v:
Also, I looked at the Surfing with the Alien tab, and only saw the intro, which is not that hard, does the song get harder to play, or its "simple stuff" till the end?
Well, looked at the tab, HOLY SHIT.
Hahaha, well, gotta practice those legato's, other than that, I "think" I can do it :v:
My middle name is named after Gibson Guitars:smug:
My point being that many people, myself included, find Ibanez guitars in particular to play very nicely. First time I wrapped my fingers around a prestige RG I was in love.
Great.

Hello Paul :v:
Just put a set of strings on my guitar a week ago, and the high E has already snapped, while downtuning.
FUCK!!!

Snapped, while DOWNtuning?
I also changed my strings last week, changed from 9-46 to 10-46, way more awesome with 10's instead of 9's, and it sounds so damn good with new bass strings. <3 Elixir
I love thick guitar strings, like 11's or 12's. Makes trying out guitars in store harder though, since they always use 9's. >_>

PRS SE Santana

Well there it is, I'm getting that.
That is lovely too.
Are those metal guitars made specifically for metal any good at playing things that aren't metal? I hear great things about Ibanez, but since I don't really play any metal past Iron Maiden, I don't know if it'd be worth my while to look into those metal brands too.

I have an Ibanez acoustic, but acoustics clearly aren't metal.
That is lovely too.
aw, thanks man
I haven't seen RG's used outside of metal, but there's more to ibanez than RG. I recommend ooking into ART's or something.

Ibanez hollow bodies are nice. Really nice.

Yeah and i use the Ernie ball light tops heavy bottoms, i'm trying to find the heaviest strings i can but they seem to be the heaviest stocked around here.

I'd say get a HSS Strat, Can cover practically any style you want. My guitarist uses one and we have done allsorts.. We did session work (Small faces!) and we've done Metallica stuff and in our gigging band we play chili peppers and (for some reason :s) Kings of leon. All with the same guitar. The tele does get broken out for Can't stop and Around the world though :D
I ended up putting in a Dimarzio tone zone in the bridge position for him and I wired in a coil tap switch to get that single coil bridge sound aswell, Damn versatile guitar.

I'd get an HSS Strat, it's just that everyone in my area has a Strat of some sort. Mostly black ones. I guess it all depends on what my local guitar shop has in stock and how everything plays.

I must have this.
I'm probably gonna have to sell my '90 Gibson Explorer in order to afford an alto saxophone.

I have an Ibanez RG370DXGS4, and I have to say it sounds good for when I play Rush songs.
Just tried to play canon rock. I love to play it now.

See that's what annoys me with Ibanez. I mean who the fuck names a guitar RG370DXGS4? That's like 10 letters!
