I'm considering getting one of these: http://www.rondomusic.com/interceptorpro27.html I've heard good things about these guitars, anyone here ever played one?
Nice man. You got a pic of your new one yet?
Basically the same as my one, but with a fixed bridge, and less scratches ;)

They're quite expensive but you should get one if you can.
I was going to buy one but bought the Explorer instead. I regret that. Also be aware that the matte finish will get polished by your hand.
Yeah right now i'm just worrying how i can afford one and then get bareknuckles for it. And would it do the guitar justice to put it through a peavey vypyr, for a little while til i could get a tube amp.
I am torn between getting the Roland Cube 20x and the Peavey Vypyr 30 watt. What do you think I should get? I am leaning towards the Roland, just because of the sheer versatility and the sound quality is supposed to be amazing too.
Try them both before you buy either, but the peavey vypyr 15 watt i played was spectacular especially for the price.
Just got back from guitar center with a new glass slide and some hybrid slinkys.
I just won an 80's Randall RG100ES 120 watt head off of ebay. I can't wait for it to get here.
I want to buy a bass so badly but I'm broke. :frown:
Hey guys let's buy guitar picks made out of wheat! http://wheatware.com/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=6

My pickups and and allen screws (On the nut) are slightly rusty. What's the best way to rectify this? [editline]02:34PM[/editline]
I'd assume solid state. My theory is that the lead is playing up and one of my friends suggested this to me today too, but it stopped working very suddenly and I don't think I did anything to damage it at that point, which is why I'm still not entirely sure. Both my amp and guitar have been left in a friend's basement for the past 2 weeks or so but they were fine down there, it was only once I'd had it home for a couple of days that it stopped working.
Oh yes, this turned out to be the lead.
I have a Gibson Starburst: I also have a Gretsch Electromatic but I couldn't find a pic and i don't have camera on me
Yeah because I totally believe that coming from a guy who's registered a few days ago and has shoop da woop avatar.
Yeah because I totally believe that coming from a guy who's registered a few days ago and has shoop da woop avatar.
Matureness is not related to devotion or resources.
Yeah because I totally believe that coming from a guy who's registered a few days ago and has shoop da woop avatar.
I knew a little kid who owned a Gibson and could barely play anything.
I know I shouldn't be speculating what my NEXT guitar would be, since I just bought a nice one, but if I got another guitar I'd get an ESP horizon NT-II in dark brown sunburst and replace the pickups with EMGs.
I'm thinking about asking for a bass for my birthday but I don't really know much about what's good and what's not. Does this look alright for a first bass? I think my habit of killing threads by posting in them has returned.... Surely someone can give some advice?
When I see all you right handed people and your fancy guitars it makes me sad =(
When I see all you right handed people and your fancy guitars it makes me sad =(
Get something like a gibson SG with double cutaways
I have an SG at the moment, but I'm want to get a grestch, but no luck. :(

I have never got along well with ESP. I hear ibanez do some great beginner stuff as well as aria, yamaha or even behringer if you want to go cheap.
I've been thinking about what pickups to put in my guitar when I get it. I'm thinking Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and Dimarzio PAF Pro in the neck. However, I have heard both the Super Distortion and PAF Pro being a bit muddy or fuzzy, so.... Maybe I should get some Bareknuckles, because I know they sound quite good, and I was thinking either Nailbombs or Warpigs. However I much prefer the tone of the Dimarzios when soloing, it's just the fuzzyness when playing chords and stuff that puts me off a bit.
You sure? Why would anyone do that?
Hm, I dug deeper and it appears he wrote etc. with his right hand because he was forced to as a child Still, Knopfler is left handed :)
