Iron Man.
What's you budget for the amp?
under 300 bucks ASD (aussie currency)
Give or take, would probably stretch 50 bucks over if I had to
Epi SG's are great guitars, got a G-400 myself.
I started with a Squier Strat though.
So I've heard, I like the G-400 but I'm not sure it's suitable for a first electric

Sure it is, if you can afford to do that.
It's a great guitar and it's not terribly expensive either.
Thanks :fuckyou: I'll keep that in mind
I've heard great stuff about it and I love the shape
I'm also a fanatic to AC/DC and Angus Young is my hero so that appeals to me as well
The pickups on the the G-400 seem great, humbuckers sound really nice

Paranoid.

HOLY FUCKING FUCKSAUCE THAT IS BEAUTIFUL
I would force myself to whore out and eventually buy it if it was a 24-fret. Still FUCKING UNDENIABLY AWESOME, but I can pass without the second octave I'd need for my favorite 7-string material.

Vox valvetronix amps are awesome. Try having a hunt around for one.
Does anyone have any experience with Fender Rumble bass amps? Both maintenance wise and the sound
I am probably going to start learning how to make pedals soon. I'm going to college for computer and electrical engineering, so I should be pretty knowledgeable in that field in a couple years.

This is something I'd like to learn how to do. Once you've got some circuit diagrams and a schematic or two, shouldn't be too hard.

I think it looks quite average, I'm not sure what everyone's excited about?
It's not as bad as Gibsons other limited additon guitars.
The only thing I could see 7 string players complaining about is probably the scale length but if they changed the scale length of the guitar then the purists would bitch about that.

It looks awesome, it has EMGs, it has 7 strings.
but sadly only 22 frets as pretty much all explorer shaped guitars do.
My local guitar shop is getting 3 of them in January and they're being sold for £1299. Too bad I already bought the SL2HT. The SL2HT is sort of a better guitar anyway, but just the fact that it's a black 7 string Gibson with EMG pickups makes it so fucking awesome.
I might buy a normal explorer at some point, I really like them.
I played the kerry king sig today to check out the kahler trem on it.
I almost wept at how awesome it is, it's the perfect trem.
Seriously, if i get a trem on any of my future guitars it's gonna be a kahler.

That looks like just about the fishiest ad ever. No mention about the woods, it might be made out of plywood for all we know. I wouldn't buy that personally.

Pfft, I heard of particle board guitars.
Now THAT'S cheap

That looks like horseshit to me.
Honestly since when the fuck did acoustic's get specialist left handed bridges and nuts?
only left handed bridge ive ever seen was a left handed trem.
Also: what's the point of "lefty" on such a guitar... I don't get it really
