I'm not a fan of that Rickenbacker stuff, even though they invented the electric guitar. All their stuff looks sort of cumbersome and overdone. It lacks stylish-simplicity.
Geddy Lee from Rush Used the same Jazz Bass in the beginning of his career.
I have a Guitar Also and a Bass
The Bass Is Made by Yamaha and the Guitar Is a HSS Strat look alike
http://www.thomann.de/gb/hagstrom_f20t_wh.htm
And by the way, Hagström makes good guitars, it's not some unknown shit company.
The Price of that thing makes me think otherwise.

$500...?
That's not too high or too low, that's actually quite a reasonable price.

I own a Gibson explorer with Emg pick-ups, a Ibanez g10, Fender fuckin' jazz bass, a Tenrda acoustic and an Admira Classical.
I own a Gibson explorer with Emg pick-ups
*Jealous*
This man has the sexiest 7-string I have seen in a while

I just remembered a guy on Ultimate Guitar who thought soaking his strings in petrol and setting them alight would make his solos sound better.

goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
I have a friend who had a similar idea. He thought warming his strings with a lighter would make him play better. As soon as he put the flame to the strings they snapped.
Should be getting one of these next week:

Got to go to work with my dad to get it though. Should be something to keep me from getting bored in the holidays though.
Is that a VOX VT50? Oh I see now, VT30
I'm hoping to buy the VT50 at some point, I like the way it uses a traditional Valve but still has a load of new effects and stuff

So it's got a valve pre-amp then?
I'm gonna give building my own amps a shot, think im gonna build a cab first, and use a nanohead with it, then see if i can build my own amp head, and then if i can, build em for a few friends, if cashflow allows.
Almost 300$ actually.
In candian dollars, that comes out to $495
Also, most guitars are very overpriced in general. What you are really paying for is not the craftsmanship or skill put into making them, you are paying for the time that it took to make them. If a guitar can be made quickly, it doesn't mean its a crappy guitar EG: Telecaster.
There are some guitars that are very skillfully crafted, but they are usually around $2000.
I really wanna buy a p-bass, but what do I have to do when I get it? some kind of setup or anything?
I really wanna buy a p-bass, but what do I have to do when I get it? some kind of setup or anything?
No?
You don't normally need to get a guitar set up unless there's an annoying fuckup like fretbuzz or warped neck.

What do I fix to make this correct, for anyone that wants to know what it is, you'll know it the second you play it.
Easy, use a key signature instead of accidentials.
*cough* A Major *cough*
Also, using google since my camera is busted.
Are humbuckers good pickups?

idk
Ignored
It depends, if you play metal and shit alot, youll probably want better pickups, alnico if i remember correctly is supposed to be bluesy, and makes for a low output softer pickup.
If you want metal tones try bareknuckles.
Infact try bareknuckles anyway they do alot of different stuff, and i've not seen a single bad review about any of thier pickups yet.

Don't you have no access to the lower frets, I know from experience cause i have the low end version of that guitar.
Don't you have no access to the lower frets, I know from experience cause i have the low end version of that guitar.
Or then you got small fingers.
Don't you have no access to the lower frets, I know from experience cause i have the low end version of that guitar.
It looks like it wouldn't be any harder to play than an ordinary strat or LP, plus I do have really long fingers.
Nothing special but I've come to love it.

Ibanez is really top-quality shit.
