My Guitar Its a jackson RR24 was about 2000 Canadian $ when i bought it (with taxes and case)
^ Wow, fucking nice. Looks very similar to Alexi Laihho's guitar from Children of bodom Also, looks like I won't really have to worry about being picky with an amp. I was talking to my Dad and he just said, "the Beatles played Vox amps I'll buy you one of those." "But those are really expensive..." "What do you want? 60 or 80 watt?" Then I was like :smug: Quite happy atm
Just bought a new pedal (BOSS MT-2 Metal zone 2) and some SH-6 seymour duncan bridge pickups :) Can't wait.
^ Lucky duck. I need money.
Clean my yard and I'll pay you in leafs
Okay, what's your address?

ur so cool fuck the po-lice
That guitar would've looked much awesomer with an anarcho-syndicalist flag design, instead. Or at least red instead of green. But I'm picky with finishes and designs on guitars, so don't mind me. Nice gear, either way.
That headstock on the otherwise meh Washburn is truly awesome.
I love Washburn headstocks. I kinda want to get a Washburn guitar/bass, actually.
Hey guys, I was wondering about something. I'm considering possibly getting a new guitar or amp soon, but should I get a new guitar or a new amp. Both my current guitar and amp are huge pieces of shit. I have a Fender Starcaster and a Marshall MG10. Now, I didn't buy either, I got them for free, so I would have something to use. Do you guys think I should invest in a new amp or a new guitar first?
Just got a load of picks. Ever since I lost my lucky ceramic 2mm pick I've been pretty unsatisfied with any pick I've been using. But I was able to find it again a guitar store and I bought a bunch of other stuff.

If it's both, then you need to get saving :P
why does any pick apart from my main one feel weird even though i have another that is the exact same size, shape, texture, thickness, weight, etc
why does any pick apart from my main one feel weird even though i have another that is the exact same size, shape, texture, thickness, weight, etc
Might have altered shape over time to suit your fingers more?
my main one is newer
my main one is newer
Well I'm stumped. Minor imperfections perhaps?
why does any pick apart from my main one feel weird even though i have another that is the exact same size, shape, texture, thickness, weight, etc
It formed a special bond with you, never lose it.
Am I the only person that only likes to use sharp picks like this: I find normal ones don't catch the strings and therefore don't really make a very good sound.

I forgot to take some picks to a rehearsal once and had to use a mates round edged one, and I couldn't play leads at all.
I use these Great picks for soloing, not so much chord work because they're really fucking small and i have large thumbs

I love pointed picks. But stubbies I find really uncomfortable and annoying. I don't see why everyone loves them
Can anybody give me any tips on how to get my fourth finger doing what I want it to, the bitch won't obey and I'm uncoordinated on it
Can anybody give me any tips on how to get my fourth finger doing what I want it to, the bitch won't obey and I'm uncoordinated on it
You just need to keep using it, build up strength. Maybe you could start off with some chromatic exercises, using one finger per fret. That's all there is really, just practice while using that finger of course.
that's what I've been doing, I'm trying to learn the main part to AC/DC's you shook me all night long and it sounds better if for G major if you have the d on the b string pressed down. I have to then use my fourth finger for it, and I can't get it right and it always sounds fucked. When I strum it just sounds really crappy, I'm in the middle of practising now anyway but thanks for your help
Recently I found it cool to play with fingers, a bit harder, but still.. I blame Knopfler
why does any pick apart from my main one feel weird even though i have another that is the exact same size, shape, texture, thickness, weight, etc
I have one Jazz III I've been using for like 2 years now and it's still sharp. It also has tooth marks from a dog on it for better grip. There's no pick quite like it and I only play with that specific pick. <3
