I hate non-traditional inlays. >:C [editline]04:15AM[/editline] That esp is sexy.
Haven't found any from my country. It's a quite new guitar ( relesed this year), and it has gotten the best ratings everywhere I've seen it, so it's really hard to find used ones.
Ah true, I failed to notice it has a Floyd. I see a lot of string-through ones being sold and traded.
Well everyone is allowed their own opinion, so here goes mine: I don't like the rounded shape, looks like a bad mould of other shapes. The bat inlays are silly Gold hardware is a big no no for me The guitar I posted is my personal favourite shape, the finish is the most godly I have ever seen, It has sexy sexy binding on the body, so yeah.
The shape rules Bats rule Hardware I guess It doesn't really matter, just a personal opinion like you said [editline]04:20PM[/editline] Plus look at the finish on the PRS, it's the same albeit in purple
Now that's what I call a bass
That is fucking amazing. After about two or three weeks, start to finish, I finally learned how to play the lead on Back in Black. I feel fucking awesome.
I believe that this guitar is far more sexy Checkmate I mean, look at your inlays, they're rectangles WELL I GOT BATS BITCH [editline]02:08PM[/editline] Also I'm pretty sure what I'm going to get for a first guitar At my local music store, they selll an Ibanez RX20 and an amp for 400 bucks ASD I've looked up some reviews, and while the amp may not be too amazing the guitar is actually supposed to be pretty good. Here's a pic of the amp and guitar Amp Guitar Here's a link to it http://www.allansmusic.com.au/prod/152746/Ibanez_RX20_and_IBZ10_Electric_Guitar_and_Amp_Pack.aspx Opinions?
If you can find a cheap S series Ibanez on sale, go for that. I recently got my Ibanez S620EXFB from Allans for 800 bucks. It was a massive steal.
800 bucks is a little out of my price range I just want an cheap but mid range electric guitar and amp to practice techniques that would be otherwise impossible on an acoustic
I am trying to start playing guitar now. My saxophone and piano need a friend. I am thinking of buying BC RICH Warbeast Standard with the MARSHALL MG30FX-NEW for 565€ Any opinions?
NO GOD FUCKING DAMNIT JUST NO!!! NEVER GET A LOW END BC!!!! OR AN MG EVER!!!! You could get a low end prs se instead for about 400 pounds and then a peavey 15 watt vypyr
I am thinking of buying BC RICH Warbeast Standard with the MARSHALL MG30FX-NEW for 565€ Any opinions?
Wow, you have quite possibly picked the worst guitar and amp ever. The only BC RICH guitar you should ever buy is one that is high-end. Everything lower than high-quality may have an awesome look but will sound like bird shit. I won't bother asking why you want a BC RICH for your first guitar either. Never, ever go with a marshall MG. Enough said.
Why would you want a uncomfortable metal guitar if you play sax & piano? Doesn't really make sense in my head.
Ehh.. okay. Maybe I hang out in the worst guitar-knowing groups then : P I was thinking personally about the ESP MH-53 But which AMP should I choose then? And for metal use :3
Why would you want a uncomfortable metal guitar if you play sax & piano? Doesn't really make sense in my head.
Uncomfortable? Well, I don't know about that. And about the sax, I've just played it since I was 5, so it's just stuck in me. And the piano. Playing the piano doesn't mean that you are some classical freak who only plays music from Pachelbel, most of the time I compose my own music with it, or try to find different power/symphonic metal sounds by ear. A guitar would just be nice to my musical collection. Maybe I would invent something with it too.
I've been reading around (like I should have fucking done a week ago...) and it seems that not many people have good things to say about that bass kit thing that I'm getting... This disappoints me... The only other option (I'll have to convince mum to switch, which seems possible, seeing as we haven't actually bought the bass yet) was this Yamaha pack, could anyone here tell me if this one is any good? http://www.yamahamusic.com.au/products/musicalinstruments/guitars/electric/bass/rbx.asp#RBX170 http://www.andysmusiconline.com/products/yamaha_gigmaker_eb.html
ok to the guy who now wants the esp, that looks good il look into it further soon. And to the guy getting the bass, for the love of christ, you should never buy a pack, that goes for bass and electric, trust me the actual bas may be good, but that amp will suck gonads harder that a dyson. EDIT: actually that esp may not be the best guitar to start with cause of the tremolo, alot of people say they don't hold the tune after trem use and bends, and they are reputedly a bitch to restring, but if you think you can survive that then no reason not get it :)
Ignore all the previous posts, you've found the only guitar you'll ever need.
Yeah let's get a headless steinberger why don't we? Plus isn't that made of carbon fibre?
Yeah let's get a headless steinberger why don't we? Plus isn't that made of carbon fibre?
Yeah, some guy was jumping on it, it didn't break.
yeah so? itll probably sound like ass. And gentlemen i require a new amplifier, the max i can go is 300 pounds, i would prefer tube but i can live with solid state, any suggestions?
why are you telling people who are getting their first guitar to buy a $2000 one?
I don't see why you'd feel like a dick. If it's a good guitar then I'd get it.
I dunno, I'm just weird about this sort of thing. I usually worry about making decisions so much it leads to near-paralysis, especially with purchases.
Check out the Musicman Stingray5, I played one the other day, they are really amazing basses.
Yeah, those are sexy beasts, but unfortunately I don't have $1800~ I have been eyeing the Ibanez ATK as well, which is basically the same thing, only cheaper and stuff.
So can I get an answer? There are only two options, the SX bass or the Yamaha bass. Don't just say they both suck because that doesn't help me at all. Where are all the people who were actually helpful on page 41?
I've played a bass similar to the Yamaha, and the only qualms I had with it were the strings, and the lack of a bridge pickup. That one has both of those problems taken care of, so I say go for it.

You could pick up a used Prestige or something for quite a good price, and the Ibanez bridges are some of the better Licensed Floyds out there. I got my RG7620 for $450, and it shreds, and it's arguably a better quality guitar than the one that replaced it (RG1527) which retails for around $1500. I'm sure a used one would be more reasonably priced.
sexiest guitar ever hands down. I will buy one someday, perhaps the day I sell my drumkit.
Wrong! Natural wood finish wins, always. :v:
So you see these Blackmachine guitars? http://www.blackmachine.net/b2.htm How do I get one? do I have to get it custom made or what, I can't see any B2s online anywhere? Here's a pic:

You could always buy one used. You could probably find a few on ebay and such.
How much do you have? I'm sure a used one would be more reasonably priced.
I'd prefer to only have to save up $750, really, but I may be able to go a bit higher.
