After christmas do you think music stores prices and shit will go down when they are trying to desperately sell all the guitars and stuff they didn't manage to sell over the holiday?
I still wish the pickups of the Les Paul were moved
I still wish the pickups of the Les Paul were moved
How do you mean?

damn
It's no problem, just go into the store, find a guitar you like, and when nobody is around, drop it, and get a discount :v:
How do you mean?
The ones furthest away from the fret board get in my way
That's my Epiphone SG-Special, really enjoy it, was my first real guitar. I'm getting.... this one for Christmas:

I should throw a pointy V at somebody and leg it out the door with another one. they could be more proccupied with the guitar in their lungs.
i want this for christmas

Mine was around $2000AUD if I remember correctly though :v: but you pay a price for a quality Spanish guitar.

Starting to get the hang of it.
Sweeeet.. are you a good player? I have only played for maybe 4-5 months. Starting to get the hang of it.
I played classical guitar for around 5 years, and finished studying it to the level before university level (which is ridiculous). I'd be a tad rusty now though, I've been playing electric pretty much exclusively for around 3 years, but the classical training provided a good base for learning other techniques. And keep going with the classical stuff, even better if you enjoy it. I hated it, but I really appreciate having done it.
i want this for christmas
That colour is awful.
Does anyone have good ways of fixing dings on a guitar (like down to the wood dings)? I've seen a ESP Horizon on eBay and he says he might swap it for a Jackson Soloist or similar and needs one witha tremolo, so this is perfect because I really want a Horizon and I'm looking to get rid of my Jackson. Sadly the ESP Horizon has 3 or 4 dings on it and the coil split is detached apparently (don't really care about that) But I hate the look of dings and since they reveal the wood then moisture could get in and that could end up rotting the wood. I've heard just slowly and carefully filling the ding with superglue and then finely buffing/sanding it to blend in works ok.

Or is it just in the finish? Also, is it a painted guitar, or natural wood?
I think it's a transparent lacquer or something. And the wood isn't dented, it's just had the finish chipped of, exposing the wood underneath. Also new avatar :D :D :D
I'm going to buy a roland cube 15x it's $219 ASD here, so I may as well buy it then I'm going to save up and buy a G-400. I went to a music store with a friend today and played a fender acoustic. I fell in love
Yeah but how often do you spot gorgeous spalted maple caps, on a v. And those shapes are used because they are appealing to the eye
You don't see that very often, no, because it would not fit. But that doesn't mean that there aren't neat and original V's, now does it? http://www.gbase.com/gear/dean-usa-time-capsule-exotic-v-2009 How about that, a V with a spalted finish, and i think it looks quite nice. Also the second V was fucking horrendous, as was the first one.
Okay I definitely don't like rounded Vs now. Most of those are largely unappealing.
See to me it's like they tried to make a sharp shape, and changed there mind at the last second so dulled the corners, so it's like niether shape, and sucks ass hards.
I've read the last 10 pages. Why is there no Rickenbacker love up in here? mmmmm
Cause they are horrible, that thing looks ugly as shit.
Cause they are horrible, that thing looks ugly as shit.
You best be joking
Cause they are horrible, that thing looks ugly as shit.
because looks are all that matters in a guitar
Les Paul is my favourite type of guitar, I don't like all those weird uncomfortable looking shapes.
After a year of pause, I've decided to start playing the guitar again. SWEEP PICKING HERE I COME!
