i had no problem with bronies until some kid did a pony themed presentation in class another kid would draw ponies on the desk i sat at i hate everything
i hate it when people bring their fandoms into stuff that's not at all related, same reason why i hate a lot of game of thrones, dr who and breaking bad fans who post jokes you will NOT understand at all if you havent seen the show, outside of the show's thread. though i hate mlp more not simply because its a show for little girls but because its a fad. i mean, if people "from the internet" hadnt called attention to it, it'd have been the exact same shit as any other kids cartoon (aka people not from the target audience wouldnt have watched it)
Can you really call brony stuff a fad anymore, its been going on for like 3 years now.
It is more of a fatal disease imo
well I still see people with scene-ish clothing and converse chucks with marker writings all over from time to time, but that doesn't mean that there wasn't a was a huge 'scene' fad that happened around 2006-2008
Stereotyping once again I see.
Be nice to Skea please :( He's in the army, he's a cool dude, and he really doesn't fit the stereotype at all
Can you really call brony stuff a fad anymore, its been going on for like 3 years now.
people with nothing else in their lives need something to cling to
I dunno, it just kinda gets tiring seeing people ignoring a lot of stuff and skipping straight to the "omg neckbeard basement dweller" stereotype. It stopped being funny a long time ago and went to being a bit stale.
At first, I thought the brony thing was kind of a joke. Then I thought people were doing it ironically. Then I see people act that way unironically. I have no sympathy.
I'm still happy that I didn't meet a real brony (those who wears shirts about it and LOOOVEESS to talk about the show)
I watch the show, pretty big fan of it too and I laughed so hard at this. Even I find the whole wearing massive MLP shirts with one of the ponies face on it to be a bit much. I avoid people like that like a virus. But to be fair, EVERY single fandom has people like this. Every single one.
Stereotyping once again I see.
I love how your avatar pony has a fedora/cowboy hat, and you're arguing against the validity of brony "stereotypes". I mean, honestly. You can't argue against generalizations that you're making completely obvious during your argument. We're not implying you're some kind of basement dweller, but you're not making it easy to think otherwise when you've exemplified every other generalization. You're worrying about brony "stereotypes"? Then stop being a walking stereotype. Anyway, as for the video. I lost my shit at the Costco manager. It's even funnier, because I know a brony IRL that has a similar occupation.
I was a brony once. It was terrible.
I know how it feels bro. Now let's kill all Bronies.
Stereotyping once again I see.
It's a collegehumor video. It's satirical.
every time i see a brony i lose another reason to live the fact that i haven't finished my box of frosties is pretty much the only reason i have right now
every time i see a brony i lose another reason to live the fact that i haven't finished my box of frosties is pretty much the only reason i have right now
You get depressed because people you don't know watch a cartoon?
If you don't fit the brony stereotype then why the hell would you get so mad about this? hell i'm a Homestuck fan and anytime i see shit making fun of Homestuck or Homestuck fans i just laugh about it, it's called taking a harmless joke in fun.
i managed to find this classy gentleman in the comments
Because that automatically means that I live in a basement, wear a fedora, grow a neckbeard, practice poor personal hygeine, and all that jazz right?
Prove it with a self picture and timestamp. And you cant cheat so dont you go take a shower.

I laugh at this sort of thing, and I think it should be obvious these take on the people who take this shit WAY beyond too goddamn far. I don't judge the porn, the posters roleplaying under the characters names on Derpibooru as if the characters were actually on the image board, or any of the shit that's weird as a hobby but of no true harm if kept where it needs to remain... ...but then there's this poor guy on Derpibooru called "Obsessive Rarity Fan," who posts on literally any noteworthy Rarity image, and who (according to him) lives with his "waifu" Rarity in real life, and will argue bitterly with anyone that tries telling him otherwise. If the guy is kidding, then he's a dedicated troll on a similarly unhealthy level. Fucker basically admits that he forces himself into a mind-state where he constantly sees a hallucination of Rarity with him, and wishfully thinks he's telepathically linked with a REAL Rarity that exists in a REAL Equestria in another Universe, because apparently there are an infinite number of random Universes, and therefore anything can and must exist... ...Yeah... this guy needs HELP. Him and all the creepy fucks who actually created waifu shrines with lit candles and shit in front of TV screens. When you get into REAL socio/psychological harm, it's time for therapy.

I have a feeling a lot of people in this thread are liars. I have NEVER met a "neckbeard", "fat" or "fedora-wearing" brony in my life. Every brony I have met is just an average, normal person. Hell, I know a few well-fit bronies. Even when playing online games like TF2, I very, very rarely meet any obnoxious bronies. And I play on a wide range of servers. I don't understand any of the stereotyping at all. Even then, it's rather childish to make fun of someone just because they have hair on their neck or wear a certain kind of hat.
If a stereotype is accurate then it isn't a stereotype
which is exactly why it's a stereotype thank you for explaining that Personally I think it's quite strange that these people are spending their time just to make fun of people because of their interests. And yet they say bronies have no lives.

The only brony I know IRL is some obnoxious bastard in my class who's going into the air force. I know military life is harsh but seriously I didn't think it would sent you to insanity that fast.
