I was in a clan for BF2 back in the day, I ended up dropping off the internet for a couple months and when I came back not only had they kicked me out of the clan, but sent well over 300 e-mails first asking why I had left, then threatening to kick me out, and then it melted into a mix of flaming me for various reasons.
Kinda sucked because it just wasn't worth playing after that.
