I wouldn't say that they were banned for racist reasons, however, racist propaganda was definitely used to sway popular opinion.
Marijuana: Mexican, illegal immigrant, etc
Opium: Chinese
Cocaine: African-American

It seems that was the case. I only knew about it because people were saying that's why China is allowing these labs to make RCs and send them to Britain.
When I do this I usually burn through my high in 15 minutes, the effect of the amphetamines will hit you much harder (depending on your dosage) and longer (regardless of your doseage) than the pot.
