Just mentioning Insilico makes me want to download a SL viewer again and check out how the place has shaped up. Maybe its not as impressive now as it was back then, but you have to admire the effort put behind it.

my friends and i just use it as a glorified chat room and a way to meet new people. some of them make lots of money selling shit, which is pretty tight.
sometimes we go into the weird "realistic" worlds where the 40 year old men and women with their overly tan characters with horrible fashion senses, standing around and do whatever the fuck 40 year old people who play SL do.
