It's just an ultra rare item that people would pay out the ass for because of the rarity. It's like a 0.0001% chance of unboxing a knife in a case. That knife that he "unboxed" (considering that it's a minimal wear knife and not factory new) is probably worth around just under 200 dollars, not 400. Still a lot of money to make after spending 2.50 though.
I think the CS:GO "community" is pretty toxic but if there is this much money in it, I think I am going to give it a try. Steam games paid from playing steam games! Great!

Making money off of CSGO items is harder than it looks. But if you're willing to grind and trade around for a long time, you could end up like me with a 1000 dollar knife in your inventory. Or you could try your luck with cases but the chance of actually making money off of cases is slim to none.
