I'm sure there are other issues too but those are the ones I can think on the top of my head.

and yet hong kong has a gdp abit greater than south koreea's. and let's not forget that s. koreea has 5 times the population of hong kong. I don't get it...by the numbers you should be 5 times better off than s.koreea. It looks as if HK is the financial heaven of china, and all money gets laundered there.And let's not forget the conglomerate of cities next to HK such as shenzen gunangzhou, macau...There's deffinetly something going on there
