But...I like these people T_T
i agree most of this is funny as hell.
Had to register just to commend the Brohoster staff on their total awesomeness.
I do see some people's point of view that they don't care about the drama, though. No one buys a product expecting to have to watch 5 internet threads all day like a hawk just so they know how not to lose all their shit. Our world was started in October and has at least 100,000 hours of community work put into it.
But again, it's none of the staff's fault and if anything, they're showing what a great company Brohoster used to be. I will wholeheartedly support any new venture they undertake.
I do have a real question though - Is there an estimate on the time window we'll have to get our stuff when/if FTP is working? Seems like SoftLayer would smack it down if they knew about it. Many of us have to work early I'm sure and would love a break too :)
We currently have the panel routed. http://brovpn.hexxeh.net/ The problem is none of the servers are responding because they use the public network to communicate to their respective node monitors. I need to re-fuck-up the network like it was before I fixed it for Source Engine game servers to actually make it work now, funny enough.

I know RIGHT?!
I would prostrate before you, Hexxeh, but that would require funds that I don't have XD
but Matt has, lets go mug his recording studio.
hate to bring this back up, i really do, but i cant help but wondering: what was that $93,000 supposed to be for, was it company funds?
called it, but you are the god of the server men, we all thank you so much. i will sacrifice my backup computer for you
[editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
ah boxes, thought he said servers, my bad
Edit:
wait he said servers, not boxes
67 physical servers. 67 computers. 3000 Minecraft servers. Server applications that run on the physical servers.
Also, what could Matt possibly want with a recording studio? I can't see him as a singer, not even a bad one.

What I meant by this was I need the network to use the private network instead of the public one, which was at one time a decision made internally at Brohoster which fucked up our services severely enough were we had to stop providing Source Engine based games for people.
OH SHIT CLIENTS ON MC1 HAVE FILE ACCESS AGAIN. 65 SERVERS TO GO.

I cant understand ppl who dont care about their world, just their money, i mean, why did you pay anyways?
I was going to go to sleep but then I figured we were close to getting this show back online, and amc was kinda stuck.
So a little inception tunneling later and Dallas MC01 is back online.
I wish it wasn't midnight.
I'm glad you're doing this but I'm getting a little sleepy. :saddowns:
