Wouldn't that be Matt?
yes that would be matt. we are trying to keep the drama and bullshit to a minium. we've been busting ass helping people the last thing we want and or need is to have handle hate posts. we're not happy with the ways things have happened before the boxes were reopened. but i do think people need to kinda move on from the hate and look to the next best thing which we hope will be us!! providing the same awesome service and with the same fucking awesome staff as the bh we knew and loved. it's sad fb only has a like but we knew ya love us  and the feeling is mutual, that's why we're here!! They replied: sooooooo
the only t hings we can suggest for this is to contact brian at clubuptime and hopefully he can communicate with matt for this. we, the bh never had anything to do with the do domain stuff, that was matt's baby, though i know larry tried for a few people back in the day. and i do remember seeing your ticket in the bh system. contact for brian is clubuptime.com
-snip-
The business isn't going to be ran by a teenager and a man child who acts like a teenager. This operation is eons more stable than Brohoster or Club Uptime itself could have ever dreamed of.
The business isn't going to be ran by[...] a man child who acts like a teenager.
Ah, so the guy isn't acting like a moron. Nevermind, then. Also, is all your Phoenixerve stuff done? I have a little trick up my sleeve for when you're done if Brohoster's stuff isn't gone by then. No, it won't actually be bringing back Brohoster (seriously screw the neckbeard), but it will be a little tiny bit something like that.
Nah, I'm still designing the consistency guidelines for designing stuff.
Nah, I'm still designing the consistency guidelines for designing stuff.
So I've got FiOS that's not going to use. Why not put it to good use and try saving people's data for if they find out too late (which is theoretically impossible but there's always one). When all the brohoster data goes down I could later send out copies of the data I managed to download. (No, I don't mean just throwing the whole folder in a zip and putting it online - I mean providing everyone their data if I downloaded it without everyone else's stuff in it.) Right now HTTrack is a little slow but I'm sure I'm missed something somewhere that would let me use the raw FiOS power.
Wow, I'm confused now. Just saw ter writing about 'Phoenixerve', BHs successor apparently where, apparently (again), the old BH team has gone working, including Andrew. But I thought Andrew (and the rest) was un board with lethaldrive, that Jakob has. Anyone that can explain who went where?
everybody went to lethaldrive, amcfaggot (or JWJ i dunno really) renamed to Phoenixerve.
Don't listen to this man. He has no idea what he is talking about.
everybody went to lethaldrive, amcfaggot (or JWJ i dunno really) renamed to Phoenixerve.
JWJ made his own, Lethaldrive The rest of the team moved on to make their own, Phoenixerve
I will order a minecraft server whenever it gets up. No idea why but I know I will!

So what does JWJ think about you guys making your own provider? I thought you were originally going to help with lethaldrive?

@AMC Can you change Pheonix's site colours, i can't read the text at all with my crappy vision, sorry for the horrible and nitpicky comment lmao :P
@AMC Can you change Pheonix's site colours, i can't read the text at all with my crappy vision, sorry for the horrible and nitpicky comment lmao :P
Edit: Thanks for the feedback. Well considering the site is just barely going through design tests, (We've already changed the font once due to a user experience overlook) I'll definitely consider having the site color scheme changed after some more responses. Some readability concerns were raised, and I realize I have an unorthodox theming for sites, since most of my work is aimed for high contrast hardware. What I'd like to experiment with, since we're going to be heavily packing in-house design and code, is a page who's color scheme changes slightly with the local time that you view it at. Less stress on the eyes at night (going easy on blaring bright colors) and a more vivid touch during the day. No templates here, baby.

I have less than 6 hours to design our site and get it functional, so I'm focusing on that, and checking here periodically.
Just got mc7 back online for you folks.
Added a bad ass sinkin' ship countdown timer to http://www.phoenixerve.com/lifepreserver thanks to this jQuery plugin.
Just got mc7 back online for you folks.
thanks hex! just got back from dinner so didn't even know we had shit down. awesome!!!
Andrew/BH team, would it be possible to run a TCadmin task on all of the servers to compress everyone's files? That way people connecting through FTP rather than the panel would be able to download a single .zip. Plus, that would extremely help anyone with intentions of trying to mirror everyone's data.
you know what i think would be pretty cool? if jwj decided to join up with phoenixerve and code stuff like the admin panel since that seems to be his forte (plus he already has servers, so win win)
The ship sinks in 24hours.
Can you please update the OP with what did happen?
