[QUOTE=ProtractorNinja; wow very nice work!!!!!
So, the real test is going to be how long Brohoster's network stays online past the TTD. Thanks again to everyone who's helped keep it up, you've probably saved a lot of communities as a result.

We had expected things to be down on the dot, and I even logged into the master server at Brohoster to see things were alive a minute past TTD. By the time I wake up, I'm sure things will be gone.
Servers are still accessible? What is this madness.
They took pity on us?
$10.00/m – 256MB RAM – 10GB disk – 125GB bandwidth $15.00/m – 512MB RAM – 25GB disk – 250GB bandwidth $25.00/m – 1GB RAM – 50GB disk – 500GB bandwidth $45.00/m – 2GB RAM – 100GB disk – 1000GB bandwidth Just ordered servers, located in North Carolina. Just been talking to the guy who owns the provider, he's delivering the servers for me instantly since they're already in the racks. Should be read to take orders tonight at the above prices. Specs, you say? Here you go: Dual Xeon E5345 quad-core 2.33 GHz 16GB ECC DDR3 RAID10 disks 1000mbit pipe Any questions?

Or are you just bridging the gap for Brohoster users until Phoenixerve gets going?
This will be the starting pricing for Phoenixerve? Or are you just bridging the gap for Brohoster users until Phoenixerve gets going?
I'm selling my own services for Brohoster refugees (and charging less than Phoenixerve will).
We're going down, slowly but surely. http://www.dempltr.com/lithium/
I'm selling my own services for Brohoster refugees (and charging less than Phoenixerve will).
So the prices of Phoenixerve will be even higher? I'm not sure I could justify paying that much for a minecraft server. The reason I went with brohoster was because of the cheap pricing options. At three dollars a month I couldn't go wrong, but anything over about 8 and I will just find a server for my friends and I to play on. Lethal Drive already seems a bit pricey, but its only a couple dollars more than I was paying at BH, and the prices may lower after a while.
I'm selling my own services for Brohoster refugees (and charging less than Phoenixerve will).
Actually, although we don't have prices set in stone yet... you are much more expensive then we will be.

Pricing is higher because you get more for your money. Challenge accepted if you'd like a price war though. :v:
I'm selling my own services for Brohoster refugees (and charging less than Phoenixerve will).
hex....how can you say that when we haven't even completed our price list yet lol. but our prices WILL be very similar to bh's.
hex....how can you say that when we haven't even completed our price list yet lol. but our prices WILL be very similar to bh's.
Because I know the kinds of prices you'll be paying for your servers, I can estimate the lowest prices of your client products. Feel free to show some lower prices for VPes if you like.
hex...play fair eh dude. we haven't even opened the doors yet.
You're in a market for volume, I'm not. I'm not doing this for profit, you are. Essentially once I've sold a a few boxes in a bunch of different locations, I'm done. I just want myself some free servers around the globe, and since I've got the sysadmin knowledge to do it, I can. Think I proved my skills fairly well with BroVPN and the data rescue setup I created for you at Brohoster.
You go hosters!
Boxes are dropping.
Boxes are dropping.
Might wanna pick them up then before they get damaged.
Final US pricing: http://billing.hexxeh.net/cart.php?gid=2 Available later tonight.
Could you like, you know, stop advertising in my thread, please.
Could you like, you know, stop advertising in my thread, please.
It's a thread called "Brohoster is gone". I'm offering a service for ex-Brohoster clients. Problem? Thanks for mentioning me on the Life Preserver page and Minecraft forums by the way, you listed all your staff but forgot me, even though I got the nginx running so people could actually get files, without which nobody would have anything since FTP was broken... :/
None of our staff is mentioned here, I only close the statement with my name. The refugee page is to mention the new staff that will be actively working for Phoenixerve. We're not trying to step on toes, but you're advertising your services in here like everyone else providing discounts now. Frankly, that's plain rude. You also did provide a great deal of help during the time we couldn't get Softlayer to open the public ports, and for that, I'm going to stop what I'm doing right now and include you in the Life Preserver project page. That was an oversight that I admit I obviously missed. I sincerely apologize for that. Kinda easy to miss though when I'm pressured to design our theme for everything, the website, TCAdmin, WHMCS, Twitter, Steam, our future avatars, logos, and overall branding. I'm just disappointed really, because you collaborated with us fantastically with no upfront compensation of any kind besides us thanking you repeatedly, and myself saying it was an humbling experience to work with you. This is what I'm waking up to.
I'm advertising in a thread where lots of people are going to need to find a new home for their server, servers I helped to rescue. You're not selling yet. I don't see how in any way that's rude. I wasn't particularly bothered you didn't include me in those pages, since frankly if it gets you some more sales, that's cool with me. That is, until you start to criticise me baselessly. You talk like this is a Phoenixdrive thread, which it isn't (and can't be because we don't allow advertising threads anyway).

In our threads. Right now, you're doing literally no different. That's dispersion of my client base I've personally worked with day in and day out. Don't bother with a retort that I'm criticizing you on baseless claims. You understand what you're doing. If you have enough knowledge to understand how to assist in the setup of a VPN route across our network to assist clients, you're also smart enough to realize what you're doing. I'll leave it at that and allow the thread to continue on, but I have nothing else to say on the matter. Your actions can speak for themselves. I also diverted my time working on more important matters to extend our statement for you.

Those companies offering discounts didn't help recover data and so are in a different position. I figure given I helped many of these clients recover their data, I should at least have the opportunity to advertise here my zero-profit services. You're free to disagree, of course.
I tend to agree that this thread, because it is one about the fall of Brohoster, is open to anyone offering relevant services to former Brohoster customers. It should be free game to anyone who wishes to advertise their various hosting services.
Too. Much. Drama. Must. Contain. Laughter...

I have a VPS with Hexxeh and also a (soon to be) MC server with LD, I wouldn't call it rude after what he did for the old clients of BH.
