yeah I agree about the meditation
though
yesterday, got high as balls and went outside to meditate, was pretty fucking great
In relation to attempting to replicate a psychedelic experience,
I-Dosing < Psytrance
And that is all :v:
Had a friend over who wanted to try it. Even with my quality headphones and him laying still for two hours, even the strongest "doses" did nothing but "make him sweaty at one point"
Yeah man it's funny you should mention that because my friends are coming over tonight and we're gonna listen to I-doser (passing around the headphones like a joint) and get fucked on LSD
Wow I've only just recovered from this night. We listened to so much LSD, and long story short, we all had to be taken to a psychiatric ward for immediate treatment.
Use I-doser carefully, don't underestimate it like I did...
It's true that I-Doser doesn't really make anyone high but whenever I listen to "true love" before I fall asleep I have really sexual and/or weird dreams.
Also I have a bad hangover right now so i'm listening to "hangover cure" and surprisingly it actually seems to be working.

Fucking middleschool fad. I would say I take pride in never taking it seriously but really that's like saying I take pride in knowing how to breath.
And of course you're supposed to do it while already high or tripping, dummies.
Nope.
Just curious. How big of a market is there for these "drugs'. I could easily generate random frequencies in audacity, give them a random drug name, and sell them for around $20.

Okay, not exactly the same thing but whatever

Considering the original products (basically one 'company' ripping another off by repackaging them) were sold for exuberant amounts and on a per-use basis I can't imagine it too popular now. PLUS all of that stuff is right on the internet in .mp3's..
There are:
binaural beats (require headphones) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats
monaural beats (do NOT require headphones) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monaural_beats
but now there are:
isochronic tones (NO headphones, continual pulses instead of continuous beats) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isochronic_tones
all apart of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwave_entrainment
[editline]3rd January 2012[/editline]
[google them and get high]
yeah, good quality headphones can apparently improve the experience but outside of while high i've never actually experienced anything with any kind of headphones, just a weird buzzing noise after the track's finished
monaural and the other one seem pretty cool too but it's all pretty gimmicky really
