I used to see a corvette every day when I woke up... :'(
Omgomgomg saw a Ferrari tonight that according to my friend that is a walking encyclopedia is that brand new super fucking expensive one
It sounded goooooood
Almost every day i see a Gallardo LP-540 and a BMW 1M
I've seen the BMW 1M a lot. My sister had to use it because it was the DMV car.
I'm not really sure if you'd count them as exotics, but the old man does own a 77 Pontiac Firebird and a Datsun 260z.
Well considering that the most exotic car you'll ever find around where I live is a HSV VE Clubsport, I do like to think of the Firebird and 260z as exotics.
In the summer I see everything. I live in a relatively small country with a wealthy capital, and there's Lambos, Ferraris, and Porsches, your usual supercars, but you also see cool tuners and retro cars and a shitload of old american muscle cars, and theyre all treated like babies so they look stunning.
In the winter, I see Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, Porsches, and a few Maseratis.
Here in Iowa, I see a lot of Boxsters on the road, but not much else. There's a pretty fancy restaurant up town that occasionally has a Jag or an Aston Martin in the lot.
I've alos seen an SLK or two, as well as a few less exotic cars like Pontiac Solstices and Toyota MR2s.

Oh, and a guy down the street from me owns a Porsche 928 that he just leaves out and never touches.
Aside from a few C4s, C3, and C5s that cruise around here (and fewer C6s), about the closest I've seen to an exotic (as far as regularly seeing them) is this old guy's mint TT/AWD GTO VR4
Not that kind of GTO, this one:

Not really exotic, but definitely a hard to find car, especially in mint shape. The guy is like 70 too, and it doesn't fit him at all, but I'm sure he enjoys it. Kind of neat that instead of some corvette or porsche, he went out and bought a 320hp AWD import. I envy that guy.
Apart from Porsches there is a guy in the street who owns/owned a Corvette but now has a new Mustang with an Eleanor kit. And one of my neighbors own a Citroen DS if that counts.
I see my dads Gallardo in our driveway. Does that count? lol. I occasionally see a 360 Modena, GT-R, and an Exige where I live
Wait, are we counting Corvettes, Rustangs, and the other American "muscle" cars as exotics? There are at least 5 Corvettes (new and classic) in my area that I see regularly, as well as a few new and old Mustangs and at least one new Challanger.
dear god please take pictures of them all
They'd be stocked away in sheds for the winter right now I'd think, but I'll go out today and see if I can't spot one or two sitting out that I can grab a picture of.
I didn't bother taking a pic of it, but the most 'exotic' car that appears to exist on the coast where I am (Australia, FYI) is an orange lambo aventador owned by a fat mid-life-crisis-ish bloke. One of these;

My E38's about next on the list for 'exotic' cars, everything else around here is just holdens, fords and a shitload of crappy 1,3 and 5 series plastic toy car BMW's.
Sobek, I hate to say it, but if given the chance, I would have a 2008 750Li
I am ashamed :(
I see a v10 Audi every so often, my bosses Maloo ute 6 days a week (if you would count a HSV Maloo as exotic), My neighbour has a (66?) Mustang (pretty rare in Aus) and I see a Ferrari and Lotus every day in our drive-way.
sometimes see those really awesome Cadillacs on a particular cruise route near my house, the ones with the gorgeous lines, curves and fins.
There's an SLS and an SLR in my area. I occasionally see them going around roundabouts which is the most hilarious thing in history because of how big both look.

Yeah man those F02's are something else!

I'd have to respectfully pass on those crazy bloody things haha. Truthfully though what turns me away the most is the total utter non-user-serviceability. You can't change a bloody spark plug without first hooking it up to some fibre-optic fed $50,000 piece of hardware, it's manky. The beauty of the E38 is that it's totally a mechanic's car - I can and have tinkered, fixed, changed or upgraded almost everything on this motor, all with the tools in my shed.
To each their own :P
not the F02, the e66

I would assume it depends on where you live... Where I live the Corvette is so stupidly common that it doesn't turn a head when driving one around.
The most exotic car I've seen in quite a while is a green Lada 111 I see every weekday

beautiful
Okay I just saw a gallardo drive by :O
Saw a Lexus LFA the other day, a Zonda F and an Alfa 8C too.
Where I am, people don't consider Vettes anything special at all. Not because we're rich or anything, but it is almost impossible not to see one driving in the summer. Same goes for Mustangs and Camaros. Maybe it's because I live in metro Detroit. Personally, the craziest things I've seen are:
Aventador
Gallardo
458
A couple F430s
A couple R8 GTs
Bentley Continental GT or super sport or whatever
Panamaras everyone once in a while
Saw an Elise once
M3s and 5s are actually quite rare, although someone near me owns an M6
Dodge Vipers
And the occasional GTR
That's all I can think of haha. I was at a car meet one evening and saw a brand new Aventador race a GTR from a light. It was amazing, both of those cars have stupid quick 0-60 times. Sub 3 sec I wanna say.
The last car I saw that's exotic was a Lotus Exige. I think I've seen an Elise too. I usually see a bunch of classic muscle cars and sometimes an Audi R8. I see a Porsche nearly every day. I've seen a Lambo, and I think a Ferrari F360 Spider. And I live in rural PA.
[editline]17th February 2013[/editline]
See Jaggywuhs and Land/Range Rovers every day. I've seen some old Jags too.

first aston martin i ever saw. I was not disappointed.
[editline]17th February 2013[/editline]
that and back when I worked at McDonalds a powder pink Ferarri came through once. I think it was one of those old mary kay cars.
There's a bentley conti that lives somewhere around here, there's a rolls-royce ghost that i think some administrative guy for the university owns and i've seen a few porsches.
the only car i've seen that I thought was a bit more unusual was a 1937 town-car bodied Humber Pullman. Top speed of about 74 mph.
I used to see a beautiful M6 riding 'round town.
Then I saw it wrapped around a tree, story goes that the owner's son went for a drive with his friend and wanted to show off, that was the end of 2 lives, the BMW and the retard driving it didn't make it.
I see a lot of Jaguars, particularly of the XK, XF, and XJ variety, along with many Lotuses (I once saw a Lotus Evora police car), I see a veritable smorgasbord of Porsche 911s and Boxsters, the odd Aston, and I go past the headquarters of one of those exotic car clubs every day on my way home from college, and there's always a few Gallardos and an R8 V10 in there. Ferraris are less common, the most common ones are 360s around these parts.
just went to subway and saw a '67 Camaro when I walked in and a 911 GT3RS when I walked out
Not really an "exotic" car but uncommon and totally awesome: Military surplus TGB's! (Volvo c30x-series)
A neighbour had an restored TGB 11 (c303) in original configuration but painted in M90 camo.
and neighbour of my cousin's has a black metallic c306 of all things. Looks great though!

Yes, I know my definition of an exotic car is wrong, no need of telling me :v:
