I've told merry christmas to people, and generally had my plans ruined. My Sister, Sisters husband, and my brother were coming down tomorrow, and her husband talked my sister out of it. That is all I wanted for Christmas too.
I gifted GMod to one of my best pals/neigbour. Because he told me thru MSN his family had to pay a bunch for his sink system, plus something with racoons. He told me his parents said to him that they aren't getting presents. So I gifted him GMod. Little did I know hl2 dm wasn't in the specified games for it to run
Yesterday: smoked a christmas bowl with a friend while we drove to his house went to my gf's house (she likes her green ipod case thing) Came home and watched ALL SIX star trek movies with his dad. Okay, well, not all six. We skipped Star Trek IV because the video store didn't have a copy. Also played lots of yahtzee. Planning on turning this into the friendly betting game ("$5 says i have the highest limit"
wow costs 30 bucks a month? Jesus, what do they pay for? Also my boyfriend brought me battlefield 2 (before the holiday sale)
Me and my group of friends all agree to not bother buying each other stuff that we don't really want/will never use and just spend the cash on ourselves. Works a wonder :D
Late reply, but I forgot about the thread.
How can that much shit cost that little? A book trilogy alone would cost an equivalent of 90 to 140 dollars around here It's not uncommon for me to end up having to pay 40 euros for one book And that's only if the book is readily available. If they have to order it, it's closer to 80 euros
A quick recall is nearly $200, it was probably more. I shopped for bargains, as bad as it sounds. The trilogy was second hand, but pretty pristine condition - it was actually from a friend of mine. My mate's CDs, well they were just cheap. My cousins, I deducted a bit from my pay at the grocery store I work for some big bags of candy, I didn't count that part. And the alcohol was primarily baileys I made. The rest, well the rest I have no explanation for. Incase you're wondering, the price is in AUD. I'm Australian.
To friends I gave free moviet tickets for any movie in cinema :)
First year of buying presents for people, spent about £250....
This year I bought a girl I like a sweatshirt that cost 60€. Nothing else for anybody. I left the price tag on the shirt so she sees how much I gave money out. I fled after I gave the present. I hope she messages me soon. Till now she hasn't : (
