No those are the Satanists. You guys need to change your name because people will always have you both confused and it would hurt your reputation.
No proof were ever found that there were people in hooded cloaks, raping and drinking blood. It was actually a figment of the people's imagination after the success of Rosemary's Baby. One 60-something year old worker at a daycare centre got falsely accused of taking part in such rituals in a secret chamber below the place she worked on. They tore the building apart and search everywhere but they couldn't find anything. And that old woman had to live with the reputation for the rest of her days. And that isn't the only case. They used wrongful methods when getting the children to testify. Instead of "what happened?" they asked "did they take you down to a chamber and touch you in your naughty place". If getting a no as an answer, they give the same question again some time later until they get a yes.
interesting read. makes me wonder why real "terrorists" don't use something like hysteria to weaken a country?
Linguistically, that's what terrorism is. The word derives from bringing terror upon a people. Although lately, the word has evolved.
Interesting. So if a country's own government was falsifying terrorist threats here and abroad, it would still be actual terrorism?
In a sense, yes I think so.
Weird. Me no like the USA anymore =-(
Haha, we have a GD thread? SWEET. I have all of LaVey's books, and a sigil. big picture
I only have the bible and rituals. Are the others any good?
Satanism is for angsty teens who think that Disturbed is metal
I only have the bible and rituals. Are the others any good?
Satan Speaks! wasn't that bad. It's LaVey, though, so it's always worth reading at least.
Satanism is for angsty teens who think that Disturbed is metal
Eh? Where did you get that assumption from? Your ass?
They have huge group orgy rituals by a fire deep in the woods, what more do you want?
Seems like I am a satanist.
We do worship Satan, we just don't believe in him.
I don't see it that way. I see it as worship of what he represents. I guess as log as you have a base to your morales, you are following a religion.
Haha, thanks. I think.
It was most certainly a compliment, yes. [editline]04:05PM[/editline]
I guess as log as you have a base to your morales, you are following a religion.
Any philosophical views shared by two or more people could technically be called a religion.
Any philosophical views shared by two or more people could technically be called a religion.
Doesn't even need to be shared by two people. As long as it's a belief system about the reason or nature of Universe, it's a religion.
Doesn't even need to be shared by two people. As long as it's a belief system about the reason or nature of Universe, it's a religion.
I just threw that in there because I knew someone would come along and try to claim that an individual's beliefs don't count as a religion.
Satanism is for angsty teens who think that Disturbed is metal
Words like these come from a man whos incapable of reading.
This just seems like saying "living for yourself, with respect to others as individuals." It breaks the Christian belief of "all together as one under God." It's cool, but in no way will I openly admit it. I don't need unnecessary bashing from "goffick ppl."
Words like these come from a man whos incapable of reading.
And common sense.
Satanism is for angsty teens who think that Disturbed is metal
I don't quite know which part of that I should think is dumber... A few other people have already knocked down the first part, but for the second (completely unrelated) part, just read THIS.
Why are alot of Satanist 'symbols' upside down? [editline]03:32PM[/editline] [editline]03:33PM[/editline] Does inverting things have some sort of symbolic meaning in Satanism [editline]03:33PM[/editline] ?
An inverted cross is not a symbol of Satanism, it's St Peter's Cross. So it's kind of a Christian symbol.
