My dad goes snowboarding in Japan. You look at the pictures and theres lots of snow. And they plan the trip months in advance so it cant be that bad.

last years season was odd. it started in april. actually died. and then came back half assed during winter.
season before last was ferking amazing for australia. we were having remnants of powder... in AUSTRALIA!!
skiied in vail, colorado 2 years ago. was there for the worst season in 40 years. dirt patches everywhere.
skiied in heavenly, california this year. their worst season in 20, while vail had their best season in 50.

also skiied in whistler, british columbia this year - got some huge dumps while i was there. sick snow.

Hoping to get my dad to take me to Japan when it's alright for us to visit again. Last time I went snowboarding I went on an intermediate run for the first time, only after my mother watched me go down a beginner run first without falling over.

At around 12 noon today, the Clayton Campus Data Centre commenced experiencing problems with the UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) units which are attached to banks of servers which support the university's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services.
This means that a number of the university's corporate systems (including Authcate) are currently not operating.

So someone from USyd came over Tuesday and someone from UNSW came over today to my school.
And so the facts slowly start to sink in that I don't understand how uni courses/degrees/all that terminology works, and that I don't have a clear idea of what I want to do at uni anyway...
Currently what draws my eye is Design Computing from USyd (Architecture, Design and Planning faculty what how does that make sense at all), and combined Digital Media/Computer Science from UNSW (apparently you get to go back and forth to COFA/Kensington campus sounds fun)

Anyway it's not that hard, lemme make a summary;
You got your course/degree (Bachelor, masters, etc), and in it, you have 100/200/300 level units, be it cores and electives, which give you credit points upon successful completion, and through those you can do more advanced units as 200,300 level units.
