if you were actually being arrested for something, said that to the cops, and was then charged with "offensive conduct", it wouldn't fail.
IIRC there were a couple cases where people said similar things whilst in police custody, and got away with it. If only the police are around (and thus, not anyone who can be offended, like primary school kids), it's defensible.
depressing night tonight :(
so off to RO-DH if anyone is up for it. aussie server is filling up.
Unfortunately I don't own Red Orchestra. May be worth getting if you do this often.
I'd like to see people in America to do that.
Australians may not have R18 games, but we can tell the cops to go fuck themselves. Go figure.
I told a cop to fuck off or I would lodge a complaint once
shit feels good

Great game, and if you get it on STEAM you get the darkest hour 44-45 free with it.

And Mare Nostram, but they'd be free anyway.
RO retail is only on Steam. It uses your SteamID for ingame id etc
fucking melbourne weather
so bipolar
I know man. Last night was so warm I slept comfortably on an outdoor picnic bench. Today it's pouring rain and freezing.
Hitler was born in Australia, rumors say.
Just download the OST for both Morrowind and Ocarina of Time.
Two of the best scores ever. Next to perhaps John Williams.

i found myself at stranded at strathfield station at 4am
so got in a cab with some old eastern european dude with really terrible english
he mentions it is his first day as a taxi driver and "hopes" it goes well for him
well fuck me, this was more than your average trip in a cab.
he didn't understand that I couldn't give him exact directions because i'm not from sydney so from what i experienced, he seemed to totally wing it, not consulting a street directory at all. he either didn't understand what i was saying, or wasn't listening, he seemed to think I knew where we were going.
headphones in, i pretend i can't hear him ask me for directions and bury my face in my phone.
first off, he managed to blow .00 at an rbt on some highway, which was a little reassuring for me,
what followed was pretty fucked. he abruptly stopped in front of other taxi drivers (trying to turn out of other streets) leaned across me and yelled out the street name (only) out the window - the other cabbies looked confused as fuck and tried to give him directions out their windows at the top of their voices, which ended up in us going around in circles because this fool didn't understand the concept of a one way street. he did this a couple of times. at this point it was a bit amusing (i had a cab voucher so i didn't care about the cost, so i kinda found the whole situation quite funny)
he was using highbeams to read the street signs, which resulted in him highbeaming an undercover cop car from behind. the cop pulled us over and screamed at him for a bit and then got back into his car and left pretty quickly.
he then somehow managed to highbeam a group of cops dealing with some drunks on the road (who presumably radioed it in), suddenly, we had another cop car behind us, my cab driver, noticing the lights in the rearview managed to run a red, right in front of the cops.
the cop was just as angry as the first one, but cabbies must have some grace if they just take abuse from cops cause the cop just yelled at him for a bit and went back to his car, slammed the door and sped off.
during this debacle the meter was stopped at least half a dozen times
i reckon it would have been pretty terrifying if it happened during the day and i wasn't off my face, this dude could not drive for shit. i wonder how many others suffered his driving tonight
must have been a pretty shitty first day in a new job for him though, he seemed pretty stressed, i probably shouldn't have fucked with him by pretending not to care at all but looking really angry at him a whole lot . I felt I had to or I possibly wouldn't have made it back to the hotel for a looong time.

tldr
cabbies first day (I get in his cab)
gets pulled over twice by angry cops
freaks me out with weird unprofessional behaviour
stressed himself out probably thinking i wanted to kill him or something
Cabbies can't drive for shit, ever.
And they will always try to go the extra super long way

any free way to make entering passwords on iphones easier? like some kind of sso solution
root / web passwords are taking me like 5 minutes to enter, it's driving me up the fucking wall
i fucking hate this thing
Androids pattern unlock is so much cooler.

tried another browser for it? opera mini or something else?
apple really need to improve their os. it's lacking.
i need the customise the keyboard to include !@#$%^&*() so i dont need to change between that and the numbers all the time
it's not really designed too well for entering passwords and chopping and changing between the key layouts
when you enter a password, it should consume the whole screen with all the keys or something
Androids pattern unlock is so much cooler.
yeah it is, unlocking mine is annoying, slide across and then a keypad, it's so slow
Typing on a ipod/iphone is easy for me.
i enter passwords all day as part of my job
they aren't simple passwords
go figure
time yourself and tell me how long it takes you to type
jtaC5<4%"mf!e"
I wasn't really timing but about 15 - 30 seconds.
maybe i need to practice it's taking me fucking ages
still getting used to it i guess
i find i use backspace A LOT
i started turning it sideways, makes the buttons a tiny bit bigger/easier to type
jtaC5<4%"mf!e"
took me 7 seconds
:saddowns:
jtaC5<4%"mf!e"
24 keystrokes on the iPhone keyboard (23 if it doesn't auto default the first letter to a capital)
took me 7 seconds
:| - if you can type 3 1/2 keys per second on the iphone, i am impressed

Have you seen how fast some people type on them?
It's sickening.
