If it was a stupid idea then someone would of done it and they'd have regretted it instead having the private sector just fuck everything over without giving it back.
Also the takeup stuff is bullshit. If they can get the NBN connection, faster than their current connection, at a reasonable price, it's stupid to not go for it.
