I didn't pick up on the whole [sp]sacrifice to stop the government going after his family again [/sp] thing.
Personally I don't like jack, and I fucking hate every hunting mission before the legendary jaguar mission, but fuck me it's a good game. This is why I keep playing rockstar games, they are guaranteed to be good.
