Fuck no it wouldn't be; provided you can get doors. It will be slow, but it will be fun and not break if you keep up with maintenance. Source: Owned a '95 for 13 fucking years. Will buy a GT-FOUR of that vintage in a couple years when I can import it.
I ended up not buying it anyway. I do have the money and everything, it's just that I would have to live off of bread crumbs until the 20th next month when my next paycheck comes and I just couldn't do that :v:
Girlfriend ripped the hangers straight out of the exhaust on the Civic today, tore a good chunk of the resonator out with it after hitting one of the fuel tank covers at a gas station :v: Looks like a new resonator and some hangers which don't hang 2" below my exhaust will have to happen now.
took a drive up to Bellingham today to buy a set of hydras off someone on craigslist he ended up being the coolest dude, he even helped me put on the new wheels so I could enjoy the ride home on them. [editline]7:32[/editline] damn guys I got 25mpg today!!!!!
just go open headers honda guys will love it
the good thing about civics is the more shit that falls off the more custom the car becomes exhaust rusted and fell off? custom exhaust. door wrecked and replaced with donor car door? custom paintjob. springs fell out? lowered

Miata is almost paid off, it should get decent trade in value. What do?
Fuck no. The later C3 Corvettes are awful. They are slow, creaky as shit, tiny inside, hard to work on (no room) and are the epitome of GM's inability at the time to build an interior. They do look good on the outside, but that is about it.
There was a carshow/airshow outside of Denver yesterday, but due to heavy rains, most of the parking was flooded and as a result they called the show off early because of the crowds. A bunch of people who couldn't make it in went and made their own car show; with blackjack, and hookers! So I did indeed pick up the MR2. She is a fucking wonder to drive, even if she currently has wobbly tires and needs an alignment really bad (getting that done this week, tires are already on the way). Also it's 3 inch straight piped to a perfomance Flowmaster fart can so it's loud as fuck. I'll be getting a real catback exhaust sometime :v. I love it so far. Probably gonna sell my Camaro for cash to put into the MR2. Completely rust free, turns out the kid got it from Texas. Actually only 2600 miles on the new rebuild, he rolled back the odometer when it was done. ~100k on the body. Fucking pristine shape, guys. I got a unicorn.
I just bought a Toyota IQ with 17k miles on it. I've been driving it for about 3 weeks now, and I am deeply in love with it. I don't know that I'm gonna start buying extra shit, I don't know that I'll make it into a hobby, but I do love my new car. It's my first car. However, let's say maybe I did want to buy some shit... They sell a sway bar kit that I could easily install myself, but we were driving up and down mountains with sharp turns and it handled just fine, so what exactly would a sway bar do for me? Besides set me back a few hundred. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Hypothetically speaking, of course.
Tighten up the suspension, reduce body roll, increase predictability and make the handling more neutral so you can better control understeer or oversteer. Swaybars are a really great upgrade and usually aren't too hard to do unless they go around your exhaust, shift linkages and other things which can be in the way. I'm not sure I'd want a IQ to be very neutral though, what are the swaybar sizes? That wheelbase looks pretty scary to control if it starts to oversteer in the slightest. I'd probably go with some light wheels, sticky tires and upgrade the brakes.
http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/part_detailfromlist.php?part_num=PTR11-74110 This is what is on offer. Hopefully that'll contain the info you need. The install guide says it's simple and can be done without removing anything from the car. I'm not sure I even want to change it either. This is just pretty much the only thing on offer besides spoilers, fog lights, and lowering springs, and I'm good on all that, so I'm just curious about why this would be the only "performance" part they would offer through official channels to the American scion iq market. Reviews say it does handle better but I'm sure that I could convince myself of anything after spending $300 on a piece of metal.

Since it's a TRD part, it's going to be well made and thought out so I wouldn't think twice. [editline]30th May 2016[/editline] You'll be happy with it, I was just concerned it might be similar or bigger to the front swaybar which I can't find any information about. I thought you were changing both out, I highly highly doubt Toyota would sell a bar so large on a car like that which could be too neutral for most people to handle without selling a larger front bar as well.
Yes, there isn't one in the rear. There are holes where one clearly should be mounted, but it's aftermarket. I'll think about it. I don't really need to spend more money on it but I will if it'll actually benefit me in the long run.
http://www.iq-forums.com/forums/garage/1086 This guy in Japan has some Bilstien shocks, if you want to stiffen it up further this would be your next buy as far as suspension. I'd probably go for brakes, wheels and tires first though and swaybar over all.
Yes, there isn't one in the rear. Finding the biggest stock RSB for my Civic was one of the first things I did on mine and getting the Type-R 22mm bar for my Integra is something I'd almost not even want to drive without.
Are there any possible dangers of putting synthetic oil in a car that probably had non-synthetic for its entire lifespan? If so, how could I prevent them?
So they told me the only reason I failed the inspection was because my rear tires were just on the wrong side of bald. Fair enough, I went and got new ones and came back, then they told me "We don't accept Crown Victorias because they look like cop cars." WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU FUCKS?! Now I'm $300 down and a few hours wasted for my trouble.
is your crown vic even new enough to drive in the uber zone you are? (2001+) also tbh the other car thing that they ban for is "No marked, taxi, or salvaged vehicles.", and i think a crown vic is really always marked lets be real, you see a crown vic and your sphincter clenches
Are there any possible dangers of putting synthetic oil in a car that probably had non-synthetic for its entire lifespan? Got my first car. It's my gradpa's Lada 1500 (or 21061). Yay!

Ladas are great. I for one would kill for a Volga:

I wouldn't have minded it if they had told me beforehand instead of telling me "the only reason you're failing the inspection is because your rear tires are a little too bald." That's the dick move.
I drive so much that I can usually tell if a crown vic is a popo just by the headlights, in the dark, behind me. Can generally tell cop cars by their cleanliness, lack of stickers or vanity plates, tint, absolutely no scratches or dents, etc.
What about ex cop cars. :v:
So what colors look best on a 300zx? I was thinking about painting it a neutral color. But then I seen a picture of one that was like, mint colored and I actually liked it. What do you guys think? I was thinking a minty teal color with dark bronze rims, though I am super unsure about it. I dunno, I have A LOT of work before getting to even choosing a color of paint so I got some thinking time.
Took a nice long drive through my favorite roads, had to stop for a few minutes 3 damn times because of super super slow lame motorcyclists who were going up the mountain with one of those trike car things. Thankfully I got the other side of the mountain to myself since driving more than 10 miles out of town is just too much for people on a cruise and always stop at the top of the road. I think it was the color of this concept thing. http://cardesign95.blogspot.com/2010/11/nissan-fairlady-z-300zx-concept-for.html Please don't do mint.

Mine is also totally dangerous with the horrible alignment and it's twitchy as fuck with bald tires, but AW11s are fun as hell. For an exhaust, try looking into the SV3Power exhaust- they're custom built for AW11s and that's the one I'm going to get pretty soon and you might like it too.
